3 Benefits of Using a Sno Pusher Increased Productivity You can get the job done faster. A Sno Pusher can expand snow removal volume by as much as 500% over conventional blades or buckets. This is accomplished by taking several yards of snow that are contained in front of the Sno Pusher and moving it off the property. Conventional snow plowing either moves the snow to the left or the right (still on the property). When using just a bucket, the capacity of the bucket becomes the limiting factor. Bucket capacities range in general from 1yd. to 4yd. Sno Pushers push 5yds to 38yds of snow (depending on equipment horsepower and weight) in one push. LOT SIZE The size and model of your machine will have a large impact on what type of Sno Pusher you purchase. Pro-Tech makes Sno Pushers to fit on Loaders, Backhoes, Skid Steers, Compact Tractors, Heavy Duty Loaders, Tele-handlers, and Forklifts. However, your lot size must also be factored in as well. You need to take into account the room you will have to maneuver inside of the lot and the obstacles that stand in your way. SNOW TYPE Pro-Tech is able to offer our customers a solution for any type of snow or ice they encounter. We offer our standard rubber edge pusher, which is ideal for wet and slushy snow. We offer our IST pusher, which is perfect for removing ice or hard pack that is present on ground surfaces. We also offer our Switchblade model which has both rubber and steel options in one unit, giving the user the ultimate versatility in changing conditions. OPERATOR EXPERIENCE/ USAGE In any snow removal operation, operators of equipment are going to vary in how they utilize that equipment. At Pro-Tech, we have tools and parts to make every operator run our equipment as level and safe as possible. We offer higher density shoes that last longer than our standard shoes. We have options to insure the Sno Pusher stays level during operation. The self leveling gauge is a tool that connects to the side of the unit and lets the operator know when the Sno Pusher is level and when it is not. 5 SITE APPLICATION Pro-Tech has snow removal solutions for just about any commercial job. We developed certain models of Sno Pushers as a direct result from customer recommendations on how to make their snow removal operations more efficient. Here is a brief description of each of our product categories. Standard Rubber Edge Pusher. Models to fit loaders, backhoes and skidsteers. Easy to use, the standard rubber edged pusher is versatile on any site. The rubber edge is perfect for wet, heavy snow conditions. Compact Sno Pusher. Made to fit on compact tractors. This is a smaller profile pusher that is very efficient on small sites and hard to reach areas. Fold Out Sno Pushers. Pro-Tech offers a solution for the contractor that is transporting their Sno Pusher from site to site. The Fold Out Sno Pushers give the contractor the ability to move from different sites with their equipment without obstructing other lanes of traffic. Both sides fold in to decrease the Sno Pusher width down to 8 6, or the width of one lane of traffic. Pull Back Sno Pusher. Our Pull Back model is a perfect tool for loading docks or condo sites because it lets you get up close to garages or doors and pull snow away. Angle Sno Pusher. The Angle Sno Pusher fits on backhoe and loader models. This pusher works very efficiently in clearing roadways inside of a lot, as well as more specific applications like Culde-Sacs. IST Sno Pusher. These models fit on loaders, backhoes and skidsteers. They have a steel trip edge cutting system, perfect for clearing ice and hard pack. Switchblade Sno Pusher. These models fit on loaders, backhoes and skidsteers. They are a two sided pusher with one side equipped with a rubber edge and the other side equipped with a steel edge. Versatile for any site application. Super Duty. This is the largest and heaviest model of Sno Pusher. Intended for large excavating loaders, this product is ideal for very big, wide open spaces.
