Technology Dynamics Inc. was established in 976, and remains the leading American manufacturer of standard, modified, and fully custom Switching Power Supplies and DC-DC Converters for both commercial and military applications. The Allpower Source division specializes in the engineering, manufacturing and distribution of specialized components for the power supply industry. Its product mix spans the range of electrical, electromechanical, and mechanical items specifically targeted to the power supply, military, and commercial sectors. TAS offers products and services at extremely competitive prices, with quick delivery for power engineers often unable to get such custom parts quickly and within budgetary constraints. TAS products are deployed in the most advanced military systems as deployed by the US Armed Forces and US-friendly armed forces worldwide. TAS products are used in power systems which were fully qualified to MIL-STD-46, MIL-STD-8, MIL-STD-99, MIL-S-9, MIL-STD-67, MIL-STD-74, and many others. TAS products are often manufactured in America. Custom parts are made with very low tooling cost and ready to delivery in just a few weeks. Non-custom parts are mostly from stock or weeks delivery. 3 II The Allpower Source carries an extensive line of wire shock absorbers in various sizes, from small to very large. These shock absorbers provide extremely high shock attenuation. 4 III MODEL SELECTION When vibration isolation efficiency is the main consideration, vibration or shock transmit rate of the system should be minimized while system stability should be guaranteed and system energy capacity should also be taken into consideration. Thus a low-frequency system is required, of which system response frequency is around 6 ~ Hz. When shock isolation is the main purpose, system energy capacity must be guaranteed against system input, while vibration isolation should also be taken into consideration. Thus system response frequency should be designed around 5 ~ 5Hz. Mounting points of the vibration isolators must be made in a way that system stiffness center is identical with system mass center, which will help to eliminate coupling of vibration. When the height of the device is greater than its width, using of vibration isolator for improving stability should be applied. Vibration/shock isolation efficiency can be optimized when requirements on static and dynamic structural strength of the system are met.
