1 Exports from various ICD's in India Ex-Chennai, Cochin, Krishnapatnam, Kolkata, Mundra, Nhava Sheva & Pipavav gateway Ports Inland Haulage Charges - Exports - Shipper PDA & Line PDA Ex-Chennai, Cochin, Krishnapatnam, Kolkata, Mundra, Nhava Sheva & Pipavav gateway Ports Charge Code in AgenTeam : IHC Effective Date : Issue Date : EXPLANATION OF INLAND HAULAGE CHARGES (IHC) IN INDIA : There are two practices in India with respect to Export Inland Movements as under : [1] Either the Shipper pays the Railway Freight direct to the Railway Company (called Shipper PDA) OR [2] Shipper will pay to the Line and the Line will pay the Railway Company (called LINE PDA). An increasing number of customers are opting for Option 1 and we have eliminated Maximum from the Second Category which will be available only in two (2) locations in North India i.e. DADRI & TUGHLAKABAD and three (3) locations in South India i.e. BANGALORE, COIMBATORE & HYDERABAD. Both the options and the respective tariffs are listed in separate Sheets. IMANT NOTES : [A] The Inland Haulage Charges apply to all Terminals at Chennai (CITPL & CCTPL), Cochin, Krishnapatnam, Kolkata, Nhava Sheva (GTI, JNPT, NSICT, NSICT & NSIGT), Mundra (MICT, Adani CT-2, Adani CT-3 & Adani CMA) AND Pipavav covering all ZIM and GSL services. [B] [C] [D] [E] Inland Haulage Charges are subject to Goods and Service Tax 18.0 % which applies on top of the charges detailed below. The charges below include Costs in the Port/Terminal and no Separate THC is applicable. There is no fixed tariff for OOG (Special Equipment) as it moves by Road, the Origin Office must Contact POD for IHC rates. All Special Equipment is subject to EMPTY REPO COST. Please apply for the same on need-case basis. [F] [G] [H] [I] [J] [K] The charges below can be collected at the Port of Discharge by converting the tariff amounts (in INDIAN RUPEES) into the Local Currency. However, the manifest issued from India will carry the Indian Rupee amount. The Rate of Exchange will be the one on the Loading Date, to be obtained by the Office at the Place of Delivery. Goods and Service Tax (GST) will be calculated at the Published Tariff and will always be charged to the Shipper in India, irrespective of the fact that the actual charges are collected at the POD. This is the regulation in India. This is the regulation in India. Several North & West India ICD's have a connection with NHAVA SHEVA, MUNDRA & PIPAVAV. Presently only the West Africa Service (IAS) calls Mundra and so the Mundra option is only available to this limited segment. As such only the NHAVA SHEVA tariff needs to be considered for the cargo being Shipped from these ICD's to Far East, America, Europe, Israel, Mediterranean and Black Sea Areas. The tariff has been rationalized with Separate rates for CFS/ICD Stuffing and Factory Stuffing rates are being standardized across the board. LINE PDA options for Ballabhgarh and Loni have been discontinued and only five (5) locations all over INDIA i.e. DADRI, TUGHLAKABAD, BANGALORE, COIMBATORE & HYDERABAD offer a LINE PDA option. The correct Charge Code to be used for this charge is IHC. Tariff Amounts is in INDIAN RUPEES.
