3 Concrete Boy 380 Spraying concrete, handling self-levelling screed, pumping concrete the new compact concrete pump trailer is a veritable all-rounder. This small, lightweight and high-performance fine concrete pump is ideal for pumping anhydrite, cement and self-levelling cement screed, as well as fine cement and is perfect for spraying concrete, injecting mortar and all other concreting work up to a grain size of 32 mm. The Concrete Boy 380 is particularly useful on sites when space is at a premium or if small volumes of spray concrete are needed. The material is simply fed from a concrete mixer truck into the pump's storage tank and then delivered to where it is needed. The Concrete Boy 380 is the only fine concrete pump able to handle material with a grain size of 32 mm in an ultra-compact unit, with a pump pressure of 70 bar and a delivery rate of 18 m³/h. Fine concrete pumps are especially useful on sites when space is at a premium or when only small volumes of sprayed concrete is needed. Concrete is a mix of cement, aggregate (sand, gravel or ballast) and mixing water and can also contain other admixture and additives, with cement used as a binder to hold the other components together. The strength of the concrete is produced by the crystallisation of the cement that reaches its standard strength after 28 days under normal temperature and humidity conditions in accordance with DIN Fine concrete is characterised by a grain size of up to 32 mm. When handling spray concrete, the specially mixed material is fed from the concrete mixer truck into the pump's storage tank and is then applied to the surface through special spray equipment. Depending on the strength and application thickness needed, an accelerator can be metered into the sprayer to shorten the curing time of the concrete. When concreting, the concrete is delivered into the shuttering, compressed, levelled and then possibly re-treated. The concrete can be conveniently applied thanks to the modern technology of the S-transfer tube. The Concrete Boy can either be fed from a stationary concrete plant or from concrete mixer trucks. Fine concrete can be used to fill and inject geothermal boreholes, pile foundations or as backfilling for shuttering. Fine concrete is delivered to wherever it is needed by means of a powerful pump and is then filled or compressed into cavities under pressure by means of a special lance. Fine concrete pump trailers are small and lightweight with a powerful dual piston pump. These pumps are primarily used to pump selflevelling screed, fine concrete, inject mortar and spray concrete with a grain size of up to 32 mm. The integral S-transfer tube with automatic sealing effect permits a pump pressure of up to 68 bar and is even tight when pumping slurries and water. The self-adjusting ring seals itself independently and thus automatically compensates for any wear and tear. The spectacle wear plate at the transition from the hopper to the delivery cylinder is made of tempered steel. The flow-optimised design of the S-transfer tube also helps to reduce wear and tear. The plastic hood conceals an oil-cooled 3- cylinder diesel engine. Its 34.5 kw provides adequate power to tackle even the most demanding jobs and also complies with current COM III exhaust gas regulations. It does even more for the environment with a lower engine speed, as the Concrete Boy operates quietly, saves on diesel and is lowemission. Its modern and dynamic design makes the Concrete Boy 380 a real attention-grabbing piece of equipment on every building site. An agitator is fitted on the hinged hopper safety grille that guarantees continuous material flow. The large hopper can hold 360 litres and is designed to pump until it is almost empty. The remaining material can then be simply and conveniently emptied out through the flap on the base when the hopper is cleaned. 4 Concrete Boy 350 The Concrete Boy 350 is the ideal combination of tried-and-tested engineering and user-friendly design in an ultra-compact unit. With its variable delivery pressure of 40 to 68 bar and delivery output of just over 18 m³/h, this fine concrete pump can rightly be described as a veritable power package. The hydraulic drive enables material to be pumped forwards and backwards and provides for 0-100% adjustment of the delivery rate. The machine also runs along safely behind the vehicle pulling it, thanks to its roadworthy chassis and robust overrun brake. Once on site, the machine's low weight construction and large ground clearance facilitate its manoeuvrability around the site. The Concrete Boy 350 is ideal for applications where worm pumps and smaller concrete pumps are not powerful enough and larger concrete pumps are too uneconomical and expensive. With this fine cement pump we have succeeded in combining the high-performing technology associated with heavy-duty pumps with a compact, user-friendly design. The Concrete Boy 350 can handle material up to a grain size of 16mm. With its integral automatic seal, it is even capable of pumping extremely low viscosity media with ease. The applications for which the fine concrete pump can be used range from spray concrete work to concrete pumping and the delivery of self-levelling screed and the pump fits nicely into the gap between traditional worm pumps and heavy-duty pumps. Only hardwearing components have been used, that work reliably even in the harshest continuous operating conditions, thereby reducing wear and tear and increasing the machine's retained value. Service work can now be completed quickly and with ease as the entire site is now completely accessible. The motor hood is made of lightweight plastic and, in spite of its light weight, it is ultrastable and has excellent sound insulation. The machine's ventilation system is designed to ensure that the operator is not affected by exhaust air and fumes and that the interior of the machine is perfectly protected against the ingress of dirt and dust. The entire electrical and control systems have been incorporated in the Targa bar, with all of the operating and control elements logically positioned on one side so that everything is accessible and within view. The easily readable instruments are protected by a sturdy flap that can also remain closed during operation. The Concrete Boy 350 is an extremely versatile pump and can deliver and spray concrete with a grain size of up to 16 mm. It is therefore far superior to other pump systems as worm pumps and most piston pumps can only handle material with a grain size of up to 8 mm for example. The Concrete Boy 350 features a so-called automatic seal that allows it to pump with ease even very low viscosity media, such as slurries or self-levelling screed. This excellent sealing effect prevents material from being pressed out, thereby reducing the risk of a blockage. The Concrete Boy 350 also features a robust and roadworthy chassis and a sturdy overrun brake so that it can be easily towed in absolute safety even behind a passenger car. Once on site, the lowweight construction and large ground clearance of the chassis facilitate the unit's manoeuvrability on site. The Concrete Boy 350 is essentially one of the most low-wear pump systems and, if necessary, offers a number of practical features that simplify service and maintenance in the extreme. Aesthetic considerations are not the only reason for the streamlined design of the hood. On the contrary, we have quite consciously dispensed with unnecessary edges so that there are no surfaces on which dirt and dust can settle and the gloss paint finish is especially easy to clean. We can also fit an integral high-pressure cleaner as an option so that you can spray off even the most obstinate dirt with a pressure of up to 140 bar. Simply connect up the high-pressure hose - and off you go! Cleaning the hopper this becomes child's play! To lighten your load even further, the top section of the hopper can be tipped to the side and any residual concrete can be rinsed through the cleaning flap on the base of the hopper. The delivery plungers are connected by intermediate flanges to the piston rods of the drive cylinders. The drive cylinders are hydraulically driven out and in and, in doing so, push the delivery plungers in the delivery cylinder forwards and backwards. The drive cylinders are coupled to each other in such a way that they run in a pull and push motion. The inlet and outlet valve rotates in front of each of the cylinders filled with material and at the same time frees the second cylinder to be filled with material. In the first cycle, the material is drawn in through an inlet valve by a plunger running in a cylinder, then it is pushed through the outlet valve to the outlet side. The returning plunger draws the medium out of the hopper and simultaneously the forward-moving plunger presses the medium previously drawn in through the transfer tube into the delivery line. At the end of the stroke, the pump reverses and the delivery plungers change their direction of movement. As the plungers run in a push-pull motion, the mixing material is delivered continuously. Transfer tube The S-transfer tube with an automatic sealing effect permits a delivery pressure of up to 70 bar and is even sealed when handling slurries and water. The transfer tube is integrated into the pump hopper. One end with the wear ring lies adjacent to the spectacle wear plate and the other end opens into the outlet side to which the delivery line is connected. The transfer tube rotates with the aid of two switch-over cylinders. Any wear that occurs is automatically compensated for by the automatic ring on the S-tube. Water tank A water tank is incorporated between the drive cylinders and the delivery cylinder. The water is a key operational medium and, on the one hand, cools the plungers and plunger rods and also flushes the inner wall of the delivery cylinders. The water tank has been designed so that the plungers can be replaced with ease. opper/mixer The hopper is fitted with a hydraulically driven mixer that fulfils two functions: it improves the filling level of the delivery cylinders and also mixes the medium. Titelbild LB The Trans Mix is a mobile silo system for the production of self-levelling screed and light concrete. The unit operates fully automatically as everything needed to produce screed is already on board. The exhaust gas-optimised 4-cylinder Deutz diesel engine provides the ultimate in throughout power, even in the most demanding of delivery conditions. The mixing chamber combined with the high-capacity piston pump guarantees straightforward workflows. The optimum rear-axle steering makes the vehicle very manoeuvrable and it can be erected and levelled with ease thanks to hydraulic supports. Mechanical distributors RV 10 and RV 12 are ideal for the concreting of large surfaces and ceilings. From a fixed location, they can concrete areas of up to 320 or 380 m². The heavy work associated with laying delivery pipes across the roof becomes a thing of the past. By repositioning the unit with a crane, any size of concrete areas can be concreted, and only the delivery line or delivery hose needs to be extended or shortened. The delivery lines are connected on site with SK couplings.
