8 PRODUCTIVITY MAKING THE RIGHT MOVES Time is money on a job site. That s why our wheel loaders are designed to get it right from the start. Precision lifting is offered by the Terex parallel Kinematics ; turning is made simple by the articulated steering; and an oscillating rear axle with a large swing angle provides stability and operator comfort. Put simply, our wheel loaders instinctively make the right moves for you. LIFTING FRAME WITH PARALLEL KINEMATICS With Terex parallel Kinematics as standard across the range, operators can quickly and precisely lift loads to height without constant readjustment of the load angle. With the Kinematics taking care of the lifting angle, operators can concentrate on accurate load placement Terex parallel Kinematics provides excellent working cycles for loading and unloading in the second row of the truck; the intelligent design means there is no collision between the tilting lever and the truck. Extended lifting frame An extended lifting frame (650mm) is available for the TL100 and TL120, allowing operators even greater dump height. Fork carrier Designed to provide excellent field of vision when connected with the quick-connect system. What this means for you: Parallel kinematics for powerful and precise performance throughout the lifting angle. ARTICULATED STEERING WITH OSCILLATING REAR AXLE When operating in built-up environments or in spaceconstrained job sites, the articulated steering with a turning angle of 40 provides excellent turning ability. In addition, articulated steering helps the loader bucket maintain movement towards the material even at full steering angle. This provides operators with excellent flexibility when picking up pallets or positioning loads. The oscillating rear axle provides a large swing angle of 12. All four wheels maintain contact with the ground when operating on uneven terrain. The operator is always sitting parallel to the attachment. The rear end acts as a counterweight allowing high load capacity and stability. With a Terex wheel loader, only the rear axle oscillates, which differs to many other equipment manufacturers machines where the whole carriage oscillates. On our machines, this means you always have the machine weight going in the same direction as the bucket which, in turn, gives you more ground pressure when pulling backwards. Oscillating rear axle provides smooth and comfortable off-road operation. Articulated steering helps with material pick-up. 8

11 EFFICIENCY POWER: USED EFFICIENTLY Responsive, demand-driven and intuitive; our wheel loaders use power where it s needed most which means less fuel consumption and reduced wear for you. EFFICIENT HYDRAULICS The hydraulic system, works according to need with a variable flow output, which makes it possible to perform several work cycles at once. A benefit of this, for example, is that you can lift the bucket without slowing down the machine. The working hydraulics operate independently of the drive hydraulics. There is also the option to install special attachments which are hydraulically-operated. ECONOMICAL HYDROSTATIC DRIVE The closed-circuit hydrostatic drive offers powerful performance with low fuel consumption. When driving on the road you can travel at up to 20 km/h or choose to take advantage of the optional high-speed version of 36 km/h. AUTOMATIC LIMITED SLIP DIFFERENTIAL All Terex compact wheel loaders are equipped with permanent all-wheel drive and an automatic limited slip differential in the front and rear axles (45% locking effect) for automatic optimal traction when travelling straight or bent - perfect for the bucket charging procedure. The system will switch on automatically if necessary. This makes it possible to help prevent operators from making manual errors. From the cab, the driver can precisely control the oil flow from zero to full, which is ideal when operating attachments such as clamshells, high-tip buckets and roadsweepers. The joystick in our wheel loaders is easy to handle. With only 3 control units, the entire loading hydraulics can be operated comfortably and conveniently.. EASY TO SERVICE With the wide-opening one-piece hood, all engine components are easily accessible for routine maintenance and servicing. AUTOMATIC POWER SHIFT Our automatic power shift system means your machine intuitively selects the right gear to suit speed, kickdown and engine braking, making operation more simple for the driver. BRAKE INCH PEDAL For precise control and fast cycle times, Terex wheel loaders feature a brake inch pedal. This allows operators to divert engine power from the travel drive to the hydraulics for the rapid lifting and depositing of loads. 14 TEREX SWING LOADER AND ALL-WHEEL STEERING LOADER STRONG & MANOEUVRABLE THE SWING LOADER TEREX TL70S The swing loader is particularly well-suited to certain applications, including backfilling ditches and loading trucks when space is severely limited. The fact that the loading system can be swiveled 90 degrees to either side is the key to its manoeuvrability, which allows operators to work at a right angle to the direction of travel. TEREX TL80AS ALL-WHEEL STEERING LOADER When you need some muscle on your job look to our TL80AS. The enormous lifting performance with either the bucket or the fork makes the TL80AS one of the strongest in its class. With all-wheel steering the TL80AS benefits from outstanding manoeuvrability whilst the excellent traction ensures high productivity across all job sites. What this means for you: Ideal for filling in trenches efficiently. Easy to load trucks in confined construction sites. Saves space on road construction sites, which means that blocking of the second lane may not be necessary What this means for you: A small turning radius of 2.60 metres (outside tyres).
