3 here Driving Licence Verification Service With the increase in the number of drivers possessing current penalty points on their licence and potentially facing disqualification through totting up, employers have a duty of care to ensure their drivers are licenced to drive and continue to hold a valid driving licence for the relevant vehicle category. TTC DriverProtect can undertake this service through its partner and report on high-risk drivers and ensure your business remains compliant and fulfils its duty of care. Both TTC and its partner provide ISO27001 Information Security Standard providing data security reassurance and compliance with General Data Protection Regulations Electronic proactive and ongoing licence verification process, the frequency depending on number of penalty points recorded e.g. a driver with 9 penalty points is recommended to be checked monthly TOPICS COVERED: You will provide TTC with basic driver data i.e. address, name and date of birth Your driver will receive an and link to access a secure portal and commence the process by entering their licence number The result of the DVLA (Driver Vehicle Licencing Agency) or the DVANI (Driver & Vehicle Agency Northern Ireland) licence check is collated by us and reported to you highlighting any issues or need for further engagement with the driver Proactive monthly management reporting and escalation from a TTC Account Manager Drivers with multiple points i.e. 6 and above will undergo an increased frequency of checks Minimal customer administration with proactive reporting from TTC Minimising the risk of employees driving without a licence or while disqualified Direct links to DVLA and DVANI driver database Foreign driving licence checks facilitated through links with established agencies (subject to a different process and quote) Reporting on: - Licence status and entitlement - Licence validity dates and vehicle categories - Current endorsements and offence penalty points - Licence disqualification or revocation Suitable For: All businesses employing staff who drive on company business, whether driving a company vehicle or grey fleet i.e. the employee s private vehicle. TTC will assign a dedicated Account Manager to you who will provide regular management information, including the results of driving licence checks and associated risk management services.

4 Practical here on Road Driver Risk Assessment As an employers duty of care, it is essential that businesses undertake the appropriate risk assessments for their business as they would for any other work activity. Driving a motor vehicle on company business is deemed to be an at work activity and with over a quarter of all road traffic collisions involving someone driving on business, it is now recognised that driving a vehicle is the most dangerous activity an employee is likely to undertake. THE PROCESS: Assessments can be undertaken anywhere in the UK using the customers vehicle A TTC qualified Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) undertakes each assessment The ADI will record the number of driving errors and calculate a risk score Suitable for: Businesses recruiting drivers during any recruitment drive and require a number of assessments within a short period of time, especially for selecting drivers not familiar with driving larger vehicles. Businesses who are unable to provide drivers access to a computer to undertake an online risk assessment or businesses who prefer a practical environment for their drivers. Each assessment takes 1.5 hours to complete, with a minimum booking of two assessments per half day booking or a maximum of 4 per day The ADI will undertake an initial driver briefing to reassure the driver and conduct a visual inspection of the drivers license and eyesight to ensure the eyesight meets the minimum required standard as set by the DVLA The final report can be used to determine recruitment and to identify additional training A handwritten report will be processed, scanned and ed within 48 hours Urgent results provided on the day Assess drivers in a controlled and practical environment Documented risk assessment and stored for compliance purposes Driver eye sight check i.e. read a number plate from 20 metres in good daylight On conclusion of the assessment, the ADI will complete all paperwork and debrief the driver on the outcome The final assessment report(s) will be scanned and ed to the nominated contact within 48 hours

5 here Driver Aptitude Assessment & E-Learning The Aptitude Assessment is a collection of independent assessments focusing on various principles of safe driving. These principles of safe driving are assessed via a suite of assessments, namely: Rules of the road Hazard perception Hazard awareness Reaction test Safe distance following Customers safe driving policy Psychometric test We recommend that three of the assessments are selected from the suite above in any twelve-month rolling period. THE PROCESS: Driver will receive and link to access a secure portal and commence the assessment process The result of the assessment, either Low, Average, Above Average or High risk, will be collated by TTC and reported to the customer. Where additional training is required and an e-learning approach is appropriate, TTC DriverProtect has a rules of the road e-learning module that is divided into bite-sized sections, namely: - Road Signs - Speed Limits - Safety Margins - Eco-safe Driving - Documents - Vehicle Loading Drivers can dip in and out of the six units until they are all completed, after which they will undertake a short assessment to validate the intended learning outcomes. Delivery method: The driver will receive an invite to complete the assessment(s) by logging onto the portal. Each assessment can take up to 10 minutes At the end of the assessment the driver will receive feedback based on their responses Dependant on the result, the driver will receive notification to complete relevant module(s) tailored to the individual. For drivers recording a high risk result, typically no more than 10%, we would recommend a half day On Road Driver Development Course. TTC would consult with you to determine the agreed training interventions Developed using research methodology and published as peer reviewed with the British Psychology Society Assesses multiple aspects of driving such as Rules of the Road knowledge, Observation and hazard perception, Distance following, Reaction test, Psychometric assessment using the Likert Scale, Tailored to assess individual customer policies (subject to set up cost) Use of video and multiple choice questions Risk rating provided providing customer with an insight into the driver s training needs Suitable for: Suitable for any business requiring an online driver risk assessment, involving video and hazard perception assessments rather than pure driving ability or psychometric assessment.

6 here Psychometric Driver Risk Assessment & E-Learning We are able to provide our customers with academically validated psychometrically based driver assessments and identify behavioural risk. Created by Cranfield University, we can provide assessments for drivers for various vehicle categories and in multiple languages. The assessment profiles a driver on a number of critical behavioural factors including: aggression, work related risk, driving excitement, ineffective coping strategies and susceptibility to fatigue. Once the driver has been assessed, seven behavioural change e-learning modules are available for drivers to complete. Each module(s) are recommended based on the outcomes of the assessment and all of them focus on addressing behaviour. THE PROCESS: Will provide TTC with basic driver data i.e. address, name, employee reference number and group/department name Data uploaded into TTC s partner portal Driver will receive and link to access a secure portal and commence the assessment process The result of the assessment will be collated by TTC and reported to the customer highlighting any issues or need for further engagement with the driver Proactive monthly management reporting from a TTC Account Manager Drivers can dip in and out of the six units until they are all completed, after which they will undertake a short assessment to validate the intended learning outcomes. Delivery method: The driver will receive an invite to complete the assessment by logging onto the portal The risk assessment takes approximately 45 minutes to complete At the end of the assessment the driver will receive feedback and their risk rating Dependant on the result, the driver will receive notification to complete relevant e-learning module(s) tailored to the individual. This activity is tracked through the management portal and proactively reported to the customer by the nominated TTC Account Manager For drivers recording a high risk result, we would recommend a half day On Road Driver Development Course Academically validated driver risk assessment resulting in it being referenced in over 75 academic research papers Detailed driver profile reports Addresses driver behaviour through a number of e- learning modules, with targeted training interventions Multiple vehicle types covered Translated in over 30 languages Management information and individual risk profiles available Consistent assessment criteria Driver recruitment assessment module available Suitable for: Suitable for any business requiring a psychometric driver risk assessment, which looks at behaviour rather than driving ability TTC will provide a monthly management report on drivers completed, those outstanding and risk ratings
