5 DETAILS STABLE AND STURDY LIGHTWEIGHT FRAME The structure of the Zevim Modular Underfloor Storage System is always made of lightweight steel. The weight of a Zevim frame is similar to an aluminium one, but our frames have a higher loading capacity than the one made of aluminium. Each drawer has a load capacity of 150 kg. The second floor has a loading capacity of kg (with a 12 mm wooden floor) and is TuV tested. At present this is the first and only certified system offering this load capacity combined with modularity. Frame ANTI-PINCH DRAWER PROTECTION Every drawer has a positive steel locking mechanism and an anti-pinch system. This prevents fingers to be crushed by an unexpected closing of the drawer. The drawer locking mechanism and anti-pinch system have been designed and successfully tested for durability with the maximum drawer load capacity of 150 kg. An optional locking device to keep the drawers securely open is available if you often park your vehicle on an unlevel surface. The system always consists of at least one starter frame that can be further expanded with add-on frame(s). Almost any conceivable combinations are realisable. The only restriction is that the starter frame should always have the greatest height and depth. The width of the system (starter + add-on frame) is variable and depends on the space available between the wheel arches or the opening of the sliding door.
