2 Barker Buildings, Witt Road WHAT IS OPTL & ATL? In 2006 the option to install Automated Test Lanes (ATL) was introduced by VOSA. Existing MOT stations could then simultaneously upgrade their equipment and reduce labour costs by using One Person Test Lanes (OPTL). The additional equipment required was a lift or pit with a play detector, pedal depressor and a pair of MOT mirrors. All new MOT applications wishing to One Person Test are now required to go full ATL. This also includes a computerised brake tester with weigh scales in addition to the items required for OPTL. Traditional 2 Person MOT testing with the appropriate equipment continues, and new sites may still apply for this. HOW CAN G-QUIP HELP? Survey & Design Are you looking for a new ATL/MOT Bay? We have over 20 years of expertise in the MOT market, so call us and we will arrange a site visit and survey with one of our qualified Sales Engineers. Our CAD office will then produce detailed layout plans for submission to VOSA for your MOT approval. We are fully acquainted with all the current regulation. Civil Works & Electrics We can offer a total solution for your MOT bay. We work with our authorised and fully qualified sub-contractors, who will carry out all the necessary site works. Our builders will cut recesses and ducts for lifts, brake testers and headlight testers. Our NECEIC electricians will provide all the required electrical supplies and connection for your new equipment. (Quotation on request). Alternatively, we are pleased to provide the information for you to pass on to your own contractors. Installation From the moment equipment is delivered to your site on vehicles with unloading facitilies, we will install your equipment speedily and efficiently. It is our goal to deliver on time so you may maximise your revenue. We will provide all necessary certification for you to obtain your VOSA approval. Finance We are able to offer competitive leasing packages via reputable finance companies over 3-5 year periods.

4 Barker Buildings, Witt Road Stenhøj Major 426BL Stenhøj s 4-post program comprises 2 basic lift series: Major 400 & Major 500. The Major lifts are especially suitable for service and inspection, repair of brakes, wheels, exhaust system, shock absorbers, transmission and differential. The Major lifts have capacities of 4 and 5.2 t respectively. The Major program lifts the entire range of small, mediumsized and large passenger cars as well as vans and small commercial vehicles. Bent profile platforms which prevent deflection. Delivery of all standard Major lifts includes a set of 15 mm aluminium guiding edges for scissor jacks. We offer 30 mm guiding edges as optional extras. Delivery of all Major lifts includes a height indicator arrow, which helps to ensure that platforms and cross beams are totally level when the lift is parked. Stenhøj offers a large variety of optional extras for the Major lifts e.g. lighting sets. If longer ramps are required or alternatively recession in floor Stenhøj offers 1335 mm long ramps as well as driveover ramps.

8 Barker Buildings, Witt Road Stenhøj Play Detector The Stenhøj Play Detector comes in both class 4 and class 7 models. Being pneumatically operated the Stenhøj play detector is a relatively compact unit and is offered within a specially constructed version of the Stenhøj Major MOT lift with dimensions that will allow installation within an existing Stenhøj Major MOT lift recess. This combination of equipment was developed in close co-operation with AB Svensk Bilprovning (The Swedish MOT) and currently there are six hundred units of this model in use for the past 12 years in Swedish government run testing stations, many units having undertaken more than 25,000 tests!

9 Barker Buildings, Witt Road Stenhøj Micro 20 - Jacking Beam The scissor jack program for usage on all platform lifts comprises air- and hand-hydraulic jacks. The scissor jack is used in connection with e.g. wheel alignment and brake repairs. 11 Barker Buildings, Witt Road LITECHECK2 HEADLAMP BEAM SETTER Litecheck2 Headlamp Beam Setter is specifically designed to meet 2005 VOSA specification and therefore can be used in ATL applications. Litecheck2 is for use in Class 1, 2, 3, 4 & 7 MOT test lanes where there is no testing of HGV. A 3 metre rail is supplied suitable for MOT installation as standard.
