10 Fort Vale 307/312 Vacuum Breaker Vacuum Breaker Relief Vent Description The 3" Super Vac Vent is a Vacuum Relief Vent designed to be mounted directly to the top of the tank. The vent is available in two designs; a swivel type, with air inlet and pressure gauge connection facilities, and a fixed type. Both designs have 3" NPS(L) connections, and a weatherproof cowl fitted as standard. The standard internal vent seals are Fortyt (PTFE-encapsulated silicone). Other seal materials are available on request. Construction The Vent is manufactured in 316 L quality stainless steel and precision machined on the latest CNC machine tools. Welds are fully homogeneous to ASME design requirements. Standard finish is a high commercial quality electropolish or machine finish. See Venting Device Accessories page for Gauge and Ball Valve part numbers. Please note: Vacuum Vents must be fitted with a spanner wrench.
