7 Product Discontinuation: Wilco Hi-Impact Wilco Hi-Impact Industrial Switchgear has been marked for obsolescence and will no longer be available for purchase from Schneider Electric as of 14/10/2016. Wilco Hi-Impact is usually chosen as it is made from Hi-Impact polycarbonate (non-pvc). It also has been purchased to simplify maintenance or replacement of existing Hi-Impact products. The combination switch socket outlets in particular have also been selected due to their one-piece cover design. If replacement products are required the 56 series range has similar alternatives in Grey, Resistant Orange and Electric Orange. Please review this file for a list of Wilco Hi-Impact alternatives in the 56 series range: WICM110 In total there are approximately 145 Wilco Hi-Impact products affected by this change. Access to products will remain available for most of this range to service warranty needs and to allow customers time to change their install processes. Please see the list of products that will be affected by this change. If alternatives are sought please contact Schneider Electric s customer service centre or your local representative. 8 Product Discontinuation: Fluorescent Fluorescent and Metal Halide Lighting In today s lighting market with the consumers demand for energy efficiency, LED technology has fast become the industry standard. To fall in line with our desire to be a market leader in energy management we are now removing older lighting technologies from our offer. Our transformation to a full LED Lighting range continues with the removal of fluorescent and metal halide luminaires. We have ceased procurement of this product within our supply chain and will no longer be able to provide once current stock is exhausted. Exit/Emergency Lighting Due to factors beyond our control the current Exit and Emergency luminaires will no longer be available once current stock is exhausted. We understand the impact this could have on you and your valued customers and all efforts are being made to provide a new and upgraded offer. A new and improved offer is currently being developed and we will update progress and launch dates when available Metal Halide New LED Products The removal of these older technologies paves the way for us to introduce new and exciting LED luminaires to complement our current innovative and ever expanding LED range.
