We will be doing Mechanical Checks first, in one of the parking lanes, then volunteers will be there to show each car to their position. Truck & trailer parking will be in the a parking area near the show site.. * NOTE Lunch will be a choice of either a local restaurant or well recommended food trucks parked by the show. The food trucks are licensed by the City of Addison. SATURDAY, September 19, 2015 Double Tree Hotel near the Galleria Evening Schedule Dinner is to be pre-paid with registration prior to September 15 th. After that date, guests may be accommodated as space and food allows. 3 ACCOMMODATIONS Our host hotel is Double Tree, a Hilton Property 4099 Valley View Lane, Dallas, Texas JOASW was able to negotiate a rate $109 per night plus applicable tax for our Jaguar group and this rate is applicable for three days before and after the event. They are also offering a Coupons for discounted full breakfast buffet during your stay for $15 flat. The buffet has hot items including made to order omlets and cold items including fresh fruit and juices. This is a good deal! Double Tree sent me a flyer to help smooth the registration process. It is attached as page 12 of this packet. All reservations should be made by September 4, 2015! After this date, the hotel will book rooms at the regular rate if rooms are available. Page 3

4 Double Tree Location Directions General Directions to our Host Hotel: The area of North Dallas/Farmers Branch/Addison can be reached from I 35E, US 75 (Central Expressway), I 635 (LBJ) or The Dallas North Tollway. The Double Tree is on Valley View Lane, the LBJ frontage road, just west of Midway. The address is 4099 Valley View Lane, Dallas TX 75244, and most navigation units will get you there easily. You can always use Google Maps or Mapquest to get precise directions. OVERNIGHT PARKING & CAR PREP FACILITIES There is plenty of uncovered, free parking at the host hotel for both cars and trailered vehicles We should have an area delineated by Cones for parking our beauties along with their trailered brethren. We will try to have a water hose available for those wanting to clean their cars. If your car needs more than a touch up with a hose, contact Patti for information on car washes reasonably close to the hotel, or me and I will send a list.. CONCOURS The Concours will be judged according to the 2015 version of the Jaguar Club of North America's Judging Rules and Regulations. A copy of these rules will be available at the show site along with other judging books as required. Trophies will be awarded for first, second, and third place (in each JCNA Division where two or more cars are entered). One car shall constitute a class and if only one car is entered in that class, that car would receive the First Place trophy, if the score received is adequate. Trophies will also be awarded for Best of Show Championship, Best of Show Driven, Best of Show Special, Best of Show Display, and finally a Judges Choice which can be any car in any of the four groups. Please take a few minutes and fill out your registration form now (pgs 10 & 11). Show site positions will be based on the number of cars entered. Early registration of all divisions, including Display, will allow us to group all appropriate cars together for a more uniform and spectacular show. Remember that display vehicles are eligible for a Best of Show trophy to be presented at the banquet this year. Your entry will also count toward a national award, the Fred Horner Sportsman Award. 5 CONCOURS VENUE Vitruvian Park Ponte Street, Addison, Texas We are again visiting Vitruvian Park's 19 acres of green space and several large open parking lots. All cars will again be parked on a paved surface (no grass in the tire treads), while the surrounding grass and treed areas are available for tents. JOASW will have two larger tents to be used by our attendees, but those having their own tents are welcome to bring and set them up. All stakes for the tents need to be 12 inches or less for the sprinkler lines. Please plan on arriving at the show site beteen 7:30 and 8:00 to allow time for the army of volunteers to get the site ready. After passing the Mechanical Check, an Event Volunteer will show you to your parking spot. Placement will begin at 8:00 am. Per JCNA rules, all cars must remain in place until the judging has been completed and car owners are notified by the Chief Judge that it is permissible to leave the show area, which we anticipate to be around 3-3:30 pm. Paved spectator parking is available in a nearby large parking lot. Signage will be provided showing where event parking is located, along with the trailers for some show vehicles. It is a short walk from the guest parking area to the show site. Lunch will be available from several Food Trucks, all of which are licensed by the Town of Addison and are highly recommended by the management of the nearby living units for their internal celebrations. If a regular restaurant is your preference, the Addison Ice House and MH Café are just over the RED BRIDGE on Ponte Ave. Page 5

6 AWARDS BANQUET The Awards Banquet will be in the Palm Court located on the lower level of the Double Tree Lobby beneath the fronds of Palm Trees. Cocktail Social Hour, with cash bar, will commence at 6:30 PM, followed by the Banquet, and presentation of Awards in the same room. The cash bar will be available throughout the evening's activities for your choice of libations and sodas. The hotel will have someone selling tickets including any glasses of wine you might like with your dinner.. The banquet will begin at 7:35 PM and will be a plated dinner. Dinner choices are either beef, fish or vegetarian (vegan), and will include the Chef's choice of accompanying sides, salads and dessert. Water, Iced Tea and Coffee will be available at your table. GOVERNING RULES JCNA Concours d' Elegance Rules will be adhered to and will be strictly enforced during the judging of all JCNA classes and divisions. Local judging standards, similar to JCNA standards, will be used to judge the Display Clas, for Best of Show Trophies The decisions of the judges are final. Complaints or disputes will be referred to the Chief Judge who will examine the alleged grievance. No Entrant shall judge his/her own car, nor that of a relative, nor that of anyone whose car they helped prepare. Judge Qualified visiting Entrants will be employed as judges to the extent possible. Each JCNA Championship and Special Class entry will be judged by three judges. Each JCNA Driven Class entry will be judged by two judges. In instances where an item is listed on the JCNA score sheet, and that item is not applicable for a particular model, the car will receive no deductions f or that item. All cars will be parked as directed by a Concours Event Representative. The Chief Judge may invite an Entrant to move their car from a lower to a higher competitive category but not vice versa.
