(1550 microns) Warranty for Rivet and Seam Caulking Specifications The spray-up method for applying American Coatings TC 7, Catalyzed Epoxy Adhesive, is covered by the American Process Rivet and Seam Caulking Specifications. American Coatings, Tomball, Texas, guarantees only the American TC 7 Epoxy Adhesive to be formulated, manufactured and supplied in accordance with said specifications. The application of American TC 7 to rivets and seams by the American Process Method is the total responsibility of qualified and approved contractors. Guarantees for workmanship and application will be given by the contractor. American Coatings LP does not recommend the following conditions without council and written agreements with a company representative: 1. Tank interior application of American Coatings TC 7 to interior rivets and seams except where top coated with TL 1 system or equal. 2. Application of American Coatings TC 7 to bolted tanks. 3. Overcoating American Coatings TC 7 with inorganic zinc rich primers. 4. Exterior or interior application of American Coatings TC 7 to rivet and seams of riveted tanks with added welded sheets. Also included are converted cone roof riveted tanks to floating roof tanks. Specification System #5 5 Epoxy Zinc and Epoxy Mastic Finish.
