1 TreadWright's 2-Year "limited" Workmanship Warranty THINGS TO NOTICE BEFORE TIRE FAILURE: A pulling to one side or the other, low speed or high speed wobbling, hopping, slapping, or shaking. Also inspect the tire for deep cuts, bulging inside wall or tread. A good time to do this is every time you perform your tire maintenance. (Once a month at a minimum.) If any of these things are noticed have a tire PROFESSIONAL check your vehicle right away! STORAGE: When tires sit outdoors, unused for long periods of time (a month or more) their surfaces become dry and susceptible to ozone and weather checking, and the casing becomes susceptible to flat spotting. For this reason, tires should always be stored in a cool, dry, clean, indoor environment. If storage is for one month or more, eliminate the weight from the tires by raising the vehicle or by removing the tires from the vehicle. Failure to store tires in accordance with these instructions could result in damage to your tires, premature aging of the tires, sudden tire failure, and will void the limited warranty. TIRE WEAR: Because of TreadWright s final inspection we will NOT accept that all four tires from the same vehicle are out-of-round or responsible for a vibration. If a request is made to return all four tires, TreadWright will deem that there was no genuine attempt to isolate the true cause of the problem. TreadWright has identified that if a new tire contributes to a vehicle ride disturbance because of workmanship or materials, it will be apparent immediately and should be diagnosed and corrected as soon as possible. The responsible tire must be replaced before the first 2/32" of tread wear or during the first six (6) months of service whichever occurs first. Ride disturbances that occur after this initial period have been linked to road hazard damage or irregular wear stemming from the vehicle's mechanical condition and/or lack of routine maintenance. INSPECTION: When inspecting your tires, including the spare, check the air pressures. If the pressure check indicates that one of your tires has lost pressure of two pounds or more, look for signs of penetration, valve leakage or wheel damage that may account for the air loss. Always look for bulges, cracks, cuts, penetrations and abnormal tire wear, particularly on the edges of the tire tread, which may be caused by misalignment or under inflation. If any such damage is found, an ATS Certified tire installer must inspect the tire at once. Use of a damaged tire could result in tire destruction and sudden tire failure. All tires will wear out faster when subjected to high speeds as well as hard cornering, rapid starts, sudden stops, frequent driving on roads which are in poor condition, and off road use. Roads with holes and rocks or other objects can damage tires and cause misalignment

2 of your vehicle. When driving on such roads, drive carefully and slowly, and before driving again at normal or highway speeds, examine your tires for any damage, such as cuts, bulges, penetrations, unusual wear patterns, etc. DEFINITIONS: The remold process is defined as the material and labor necessary to apply new tread rubber material to a used tire casing. The casing (beads, belts both steel and synthetic, sidewall ply material, etc.) is defined as the used tire that the new remold material is bonded to. WARRANTY: MUD-TERRAIN WARRANTY (M/T) INCLUDING: GUARD DOG, CLAW, & CRAWLER ALL-TERRAIN WARRANTY (A/T) INCLUDING: WARDEN, AXIOM, PUMA, ATG, & A/P TREADWRIGHT'S 2-YEAR WORKMANSHIP WARRANTY PROVIDES FULL TIRE REPLACEMENT FOR WARRANTIED TIRES THAT ARE LESS THAN 1-YEAR OLD. TIRES THAT ARE WARRANTIED THAT ARE OVER 1-YEAR OLD WILL BE PRORATED FOR DISCOUNT REPLACEMENT.

4 This Limited Warranty is effective with proof of purchase, to the original purchaser and is nontransferable. Limited Warranty is effective for two years covering workmanship and materials of the remolding process only. At that time, all warranties, express or implied, expire. Size 37x12.50R16.5 tires are sold for off-road use ONLY and are not covered by this limited warranty. Replacement will be made in accordance with the terms and conditions described under How Replacement Charges Are Calculated. WHAT THIS LIMITED WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER: A. Any tire casing belt separations (steel or otherwise) are not covered by this limited warranty. B. Damage, defects, or abnormal wear resulting from any alteration, modification, abuse, or misuse of your TreadWright tires, including, but not limited to, the following: improper mounting, improper repair, vehicle wheel misalignment, filled tires, tire/wheel assembly imbalance, non-use, flat spotting from improper storage, ozone and weather cracking, vandalism, non-conforming rims, racing, overloading, improper balancing, added material, spinning, trued tires, under or over inflation, run flat, siping, grooving, cutting or alteration, vehicle suspension alteration, improper vehicle maintenance, improper tire maintenance, lack of regular tire rotation in accordance with industry prescribed rotation patterns and practices, intentional tire damage, use of insert devices, or other causes outside of TreadWright s control. C. Incorrect mounting of the tire, tire/wheel imbalance or improper repair. Damage caused at time of tire installation. Balancing issues must be addressed at time of mounting. Balancing issues are not covered if the tires have been driven on. D. Injuries to your TreadWright Remold Tires resulting from any of the following, including, but not limited to: road hazard, impact breaks, collisions, accidents, fires, chemical corrosion, damage in shipment, cut by vehicle/vehicle projection rubbing, nail holes, cuts, snags, bruises, punctures and similar injuries, or other causes beyond TreadWright s control. E. Tires mounted on multiple axle trailers, including, but not limited to: horse trailers, utility trailers, dump trailers, 5th wheels, and any trailers with more than a single axle. F. TreadWright is not responsible for size and fitment on customer s vehicles. If changing from the OEM size on your vehicle, TreadWright is not responsible for ride disturbances, balance issues, or any other adverse effects that could be attributed to tire size changes. Each customer is responsible to ensure they have a matching, full size, spare so as not to incur vehicle down time due to a tire loss or failure. G. Each tire is remolded with a used tire casing. Some cosmetic flaws may be present, including some nicks, scuffs, rim guard gouges, and/or other cosmetic irregularities. Tires will not be replaced because of cosmetic concerns. If a tire is desired with absolutely no irregularities please purchase a new tire.

Uneven or rapid wear that is caused by mechanical irregularity in the vehicle such as wheel misalignment, (a measured tread difference of 2/32nds of an inch or more across the tread on the same tire). I. TreadWright is not responsible for vehicle damage, property damage or personal injury. All vehicle damage, property damage and personal injury claims will be run through the customer s insurance. TreadWright expressly disclaims all other warranties and liabilities, including, but not limited, to warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose and any liability for incidental and consequential damages, loss of time, loss of vehicle use or inconvenience, In accordance with Federal Law, this Limited Warranty has been designated as a Limited Warranty. Nothing in this Limited Warranty is intended to be a representation that tire failures cannot occur. HOW REPLACEMENT CHARGES ARE CALCULATED: A tire which becomes unserviceable due to a condition covered by this workmanship and materials limited warranty will be replaced with a comparable new TreadWright tire, free of charge, when 2/32nds of an inch (1.6MM) or less of the original tread is worn, (or 25% or less, whichever is more beneficial to you) and within 12 months of the date of purchase. If TreadWright deems that mounting and balancing fees may be reimbursed in very select cases, the reimbursement amount shall not exceed TreadWright s cost of mounting and balancing of $15.00 per tire. Replacement tires that must be shipped will be delivered via Ground or Home delivery only. No Overnight or Next Day shipping is available. When more than 2/32nds of an inch of original tread has been worn (or more than 25%, whichever is more beneficial to you) or after 12 months from date of purchase, you must pay the cost of a comparable new TreadWright replacement tire on a pro rata basis. We will determine the charge base by multiplying the percentage of the original usable tread worn, by the current selling price on the TreadWright price list. You pay the cost of mounting, balancing, shipping and any other service charges and applicable taxes. WHAT THE CONSUMER MUST DO WHEN MAKING A CLAIM: When making a claim under the terms of this limited warranty, you must present your tire(s) to TreadWright for inspection. If the tire(s) were purchased by phone or over the internet and shipped to you, digital photographs must be taken of the tire(s) and ed to warranty@treadwright.com along with a copy of the original invoice/receipt, shipping address, valid phone number, name, a copy of the original installation receipt, and description of the nature of the claim. Personal identification (i.e. Driver s license, Credit Card, etc.) and vehicle registration may be required. CONDITIONS AND EXCLUSIONS: These limited warranties do not provide compensation for loss of time, loss of use of vehicle, inconvenience or consequential damage. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damage, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. In the event of a disputed claim, the consumer, at the consumer s expense, must make the tire available for further inspection.

6 No TreadWright representative, employee or retailer has the authority to make or imply any representation, promise or agreement, which in any way varies to the terms of this warranty. This limited warranty applies only in the United States. SAFETY MAINTENANCE INFORMATION: Read the Tire Maintenance portion of this document, the information on the sidewall of your tire and your vehicle owner s manual for essential safety and maintenance information. TIRE MAINTENANCE: HAZARDS: Objects in the road, such as potholes, glass, metal, rocks, wood, debris and the like, can damage a tire and should be safely avoided. Unavoidable contact with such objects should prompt a thorough tire inspection. Anytime you see any damage to your tires or wheels, replace with the spare at once. IMPACT DAMAGE: A tire impacted by a road hazard (curb, pothole, debris) may be damaged but not have visible signs of damage on its surface. A tire damaged by an impact may sustain a sudden failure a day, week, or even months later. You may not recall hitting an object that damaged or injured your tires. Air loss, unusual tire wear, localized wear or vibrations can also be signs of internal tire damage. TEMPERATURE EFFECTS: Air pressure is affected by temperature, typically 1 lb. PSI for every 10 degrees Fahrenheit. This means that a tire inflated at 35 PSI at 80 degrees Fahrenheit in July could lose 6 PSI in December at 20 degrees. It is recommended to check your tire pressure a minimum of once a month and it is good to check the air pressure every time you fuel the vehicle. PRESSURE LOSS: Tires are carefully designed to contain air but over time some leaks through the tire itself, the valve core and rim. Typical leakage can be about 1 PSI per month. In damage, tires and wheels may have more leakage. Therefore air pressure should be checked as often as possible. Check the cold inflation pressures in all your tires, including the spare, at least once a month. INFLATION: DRIVING ON ANY TIRE THAT DOES NOT HAVE THE CORRECT INFLATION PRESSURE IS DANGEROUS. Any under inflated tire builds up excessive heat that may result in sudden tire failure. Under inflation can cause many tire related problems. Under inflation results in an overloaded tire resulting in decreased fuel economy, sluggish handling, and excessive shoulder wear, and also causes heat buildup which can result in catastrophic tire failure! Therefore use a reliable air gauge to check tire pressure. TIRE ROTATION: Tire rotation is important for even tread wear and a long tread life. Tires can be conveniently rotated every 5,000-7,500 miles during your regular oil change, or sooner to get optimum benefits. Refer to your vehicle owner s manual for instructions on tire maintenance. To remain in compliance with the terms and conditions

7 of the limited warranty coverage, you must have your tires rotated every 7,500 miles (5,000 miles for mud-terrain tread pattern tires) and be able to document each rotation. BALANCING: Tire and wheel balancing are important for vehicle ride and stability. There are various types of balancing equipment available. We recommend computers in the Static setting, putting ½ the weight on the inside of the wheel and ½ the weight on the outside of the wheel. This will give you your best balance because we prebalance this way at the factory. The Static setting balances tires on a single plane versus multiple places as in the Dynamic setting. Single plane balancing is desired as we place balancing strips in the tread shoulder area during manufacture. Due to the aggressive nature of ALL of our tread designs, even tires balanced down to zero ounces, may have some ride disturbance. TIRE REPAIR: Nails and other objects may intrude into the tread causing internal damage that is not visible or apparent from the outside. A tire repair can properly be made if the tire is removed from the rim and a careful internal inspection is carried out and repair is made from the inside out. With quality materials and workmanship for the repair needed for safety. Plugs are not a repair, nor recommended and will void the limited warranty. TIRE ALTERATIONS: Do not make or allow to be made any alterations on your tires. Alterations may prevent proper performance, leading to tire damage, which can result in an accident. Tires which become unserviceable due to alteration such as truing, whitewall inlays, sipping, addition of balancing or sealant liquid, or the use of tire dressing containing petroleum distillates, are excluded from warranty coverage. ARBITRATION CLAUSE RESOLUTION OF DISPUTES ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM THIS LIMITED WARRANTY OR THE MARKETING, SALE OR PERFORMANCE OF THE PURCHASED PRODUCT AGAINST TREADWRIGHT, LLC AND ITS AGENTS, EMPLOYEES, DEALERS, AFFILIATES, PARENT OR SISTER CORPORATIONS, RELATED CORPORATE ENTITIES, PREDECESSORS, SUCCESSORS OR ASSIGNS (HEREINAFTER COLLECTIVELY TREADWRIGHT ) SHALL BE SUBJECT TO BINDING ARBITRATION. You and TreadWright acknowledge your and its right to litigate claims, disputes and controversies arising out of or in connection with this limited warranty or the marketing, sale or performance of the purchased product in court, but prefer to resolve any such claims, disputes and controversies through arbitration and hereby waive the right to litigate such claims, disputes and controversies in court upon election of arbitration by either party. Therefore, you and TreadWright agree that all claims, disputes, and controversies between you and TreadWright arising out of or in connection with this limited warranty, or any other warranties, express or implied, including a failure of warranty, or any claims arising out of or in connection with the marketing, sale or performance of the purchased product, including but not limited to claims for consumer fraud or brought under any consumer protection statute, shall be finally resolved solely by arbitration, upon election by either party, according to the formal dispute resolution procedures then in effect of the National Arbitration Forum, or if the National Arbitration Forum is no longer conducting such arbitration's, a successor

8 organization thereto or such other private arbitration service as you and TreadWright shall mutually agree (the actual authority involved, the Arbitral Body ). The Arbitral Body shall decide the issues submitted in accordance herewith, provided that all substantive questions of law will be determined under the laws of the State in which you purchased the product at issue. You agree that no claim subject to arbitration shall be arbitrated as a class action, or on a class-wide or representative basis, or on behalf of the general public, or on behalf of other persons that may be similarly situated. You agree that you do not have the right to act as a private attorney general, a class representative, or to participate as a member of a class of claimants with any claim subject to arbitration. You further agree that no claim subject to arbitration shall be heard by a jury and that any judgment or award of the Arbitral Body will be final and not subject to judicial review. All arbitration's will be conducted as document hearings. Each party shall bear its own costs arising from and associated with the document hearing with the exception of the arbitrator s fee, which will be borne by all parties in equal shares. If either party requests any procedures beyond a document hearing, the requesting party will be responsible for all fees, including filing and administrative fees, above and beyond the fees required for document hearings. Any award of the arbitrator(s) may be entered as a judgment and shall be enforceable in any court of competent jurisdiction. The arbitrators will have no authority to award punitive or other damages not measured by the prevailing party's actual damages, except as may be required by statute. Information about arbitration may be obtained and claims may be filed at any office of the National Arbitration Forum or at P.O. Box 50191, Minneapolis, MN Manufacturers warranties may not apply in all cases, depending on factors such as use of the product, where the product was purchased, or who you purchased the product from. Please review the warranty carefully, and contact the manufacturer if you have any questions.
