1 Operating Instructions and Parts Manual Please read and save these instructions. Read through this owner s manual carefully before using product. Description This Westward utility cart has durable red finish, two tiers and one full-extension drawer with ball-bearing drawer slides and fullwidth aluminum drawer pulls. Cart includes internal locking system and two side handles. Lid locks independently of drawer. Four 4 x 1 in. casters with a 150lb. load rating. This cart is ideal for pickup & transport of supplies, mail, parts, tools, storage, and inventory to various locations. Bottom and top shelves ideal for bulky items. Powder-coated finish prevents surface rust. Drawer liners included. Unpacking After unpacking unit, inspect carefully for any damage that may have occurred during transit. Check for loose, missing, or damaged parts. Shipping damage claim must be filed with carrier. Use the brakes when not moving the cart. When moving this product, do not pull it. Instead, push the product to prevent personal injury. Follow the assembly instructions to assemble the cart properly. Improper assembly may cause personal injury. Do not alter the product in any manner. Do not step on the shelves or climb on the cart. 2 Assembly NOTE: Finger tighten all bolts until the cart is completely assembled, then wrench tighten. When assembling the cart, please start from top to bottom. 1. Assemble A, F, and G (2) using J (8), L (8), and M (8). 2. Assemble C (2), and D using K (6). L (6) and M (6). 3. Assemble H (2) and I (2) using N (4), O (4), P (4), and Q. Casters w/ brake must be installed on the same side. 4. Tight all bolts. 5. Install E by placing on slides channels and slide in fully. To remove drawers, the retaining clip on the slides needs to be released by pushing lever up on one side and down on the other side at the same time, and slide out. To reinstall drawers, place on slide channels and slide in fully. 2

3 Maintenance Lubricate lock with graphite. Lubricate the ball bearing slides with grease. 3
