5 Currently Available Required Tools Just a reminder that the following tools are currently available and stock is on the shelf at Memphis PDC: L tool certification kit The certification kit provides you with all incremental, 11.9L required service tools. For additional information, refer to PPC 989. Available for ordering NOW Used In ISX 11.9 CM camshaft gear remover kit Camshaft gear remover kit contains camshaft gear remover kit used to remove the camshaft gear from the camshaft and drilling fixture kit used with to drill, split and remove the camshaft gear in-chassis. 6 2013 Certification Tools The following 2013 certification tools were released and are currently available from Memphis PDC: Please note: We are getting caught up with current demand on these new tools with the exception of the Wiring Harness Repair Kits, and This is due to a key component supplier being slow to ship the quantities needed. At this time, we do not expect to be able to fulfill all current orders of these Wiring Harness Repair Kits until April or May. We regret any problems this has caused, and are investigating how to avoid this problem in the future bench calibration harness The harness is used with ECM bench calibration base harness, part number for the ECM/engines specified below. We regret any problems this has caused, and are investigating how to avoid this problem in the future connecting rod guide pin This tool is a connecting rod guide pin for the ISX15 CM2350 X101 and later engine families. It is a saleable component in connecting rod guide pin kit The guide pin has M12 x 1.25 male threads. This guide pin should be used with fracture split rods, as it provides a stand-off between the guide pin face and the fracture split surface of the rod. The previous ISX15 guide pin, part number , did not provide this stand-off and as such, was unacceptable for use on the 2013 & later engines. This part is backwards compatible with Used In ISX15 CM2350 X101 Next

We regret any problems this has caused, and are investigating how to avoid this problem in the future connecting rod guide pin adapter kit This tool kit provides everything needed to remove and install the piston/connecting rod assembly during an in-frame repair two adapters that work on the lower end of the angle split rods used in the 12L engine family. The kit includes 2 P/N adapter assemblies, 2 P/N connecting rod guide pins and 1 P/N connecting rod guide pin spacer. We regret any problems this has caused, and are investigating how to avoid this problem in the future engine brake feeler gauge This feeler gauge is used for setting the engine brake valve lash on engine brake assemblies first introduced on ISX12 G CM2180 EJ engines. 12 New Service Tools Coming in March 2013 The following new tools are being released and are scheduled to be available beginning in March 2013: valve spring compressor kit This tool kit provides everything needed to remove and install the valve springs (four at a time). The gas engines utilize a different cylinder head than their 12L diesel relatives, and the differences in the head geometry drive the need for this tool which is unique to the gas engines. The kit includes 1 each of the following: Nut, Washer, Mounting Adapter (screws into the spark plug hole) and Plate. Due to become available March, 2013 Used In ISX12 G CM2180 EJ Next

13 New Service Tools Coming in March 2013 The following new tools are being released and are scheduled to be available beginning in March 2013: valve guide installer This tool provides everything needed to install the valve guides. The heads must be removed from the engine and disassembled to use this tool. The gas engines utilize a different cylinder head design than their 12L diesel relatives, and the differences in the head geometry drive the need for this tool which is unique to the gas engines. The tool contains no additional parts, and is sold in quantities of 1. Due to become available March, 2013 Used In ISX12 G CM2180 EJ Next

14 New Service Tools Coming in March 2013 The following new tools are being released and are scheduled to be available beginning in March 2013: valve stem seal installer This tool provides everything needed to install the valve guide stem seals with either the head installed on the engine (and valves installed) or with the head off the engine (with valves either installed or removed). The gas engines utilize a different cylinder head & seal design than their 12L diesel relatives, and the differences in the head & seal geometry drive the need for this tool which is unique to the gas engines. The tool includes 1 each of the following: Installer (used alone when valves are in place in the head) Set Screw and Pilot (set screw & pilot used in conjunction with installer when valves are not in place in the head). 16 New Service Tools Coming in April 2013 The following new tools are being released and are scheduled to be available beginning in April 2013: DEF doser cleaner kit extension harness This optional harness can be purchased for use with diesel exhaust fluid doser cleaner kit, Part Number , to allow easier kit usage in vehicles with confined mounting locations of the diesel exhaust fluid doser. 17 New Service Tools Coming in April 2013 The following new tools are being released and are scheduled to be available beginning in April 2013: fuel system leak tester The tool is used to block fuel going to an injector. One of the injector fuel lines is removed and replaced with the blocking tool. The tool allows injectors to be isolated for testing.
