2 2 Identify wear extend oil change intervals Oil is an essential part of every gear unit. However, this lubricant is subjected to high loads and thus a continuous aging process. As part of the CDS modular service system, SEW-EURODRIVE offers the Oil Check, the optimum service for identifying oil and gear unit wear and extending oil change intervals. In close collaboration with independent laboratory for lubricant analyses OELCHECK GmbH, all lubricants can be analyzed for you and on a regular basis on request. Regular monitoring of the trend behavior enables more precise information on oil and gear unit wear. Condition Monitoring Service is a component of the modular CDS system from SEW-EURODRIVE.

3 SEW-EURODRIVE can take charge of the entire process for performing a lubricant analysis and any necessary downstream measures, thus leaving you to devote yourself to your key strengths as a plant operator. Time-consuming and costly production downtimes can be eliminated and maintenance operations scheduled depending on condition/status. If the condition of the oil is assessed positively, the oil change intervals can be extended.
