2 ISV50 Fan Support Safety Campaign for Tiffin Breeze RV Page 2 of 4 4/23/2017 engine may stall without warning and cannot be restarted An unexpected engine stall without the ability to restart the engine may lead to an increased risk of a crash Certified repair locations are authorized to replace the fan support and fan adapter NOTE: This Safety Campaign is retroactive and covers repairs performed prior to the release date of this publication Action In order to qualify for repair under this field action, an engine: 1 will be covered Regardless of coverage status, and 2 must show an OPEN status for this field action on QuickServe Online After verifying that the engine meets the above requirements, perform the following actions: 1 All eligible engines require installation of Cummins Support, Fan part number and OEM fan adapter part number Repair location will order Support, Fan part number from Cummins, and fan adapter part number from Heath Thorne at Tiffin Tiffin will provide part, next day air shipment to repair location at no charge NOTE: Please contact Heath Thorne by phone at (256) , ext 3385, or via at Heaththorne@tiffinmotorhomescom The repair location will need to provide the last six digits of the chassis VIN number when placing the order 3 Please refer to Attachment B for Tiffin OEM instructions for installing the OEM fan adapter 4 Refer to Section 8 of the Service Manual for instructions to Remove and Install the fan support Material Disposition Materials removed as a result of this field action must be scrapped Reimbursements Parts The following parts are covered under this field action: Part Number Quantity Description SUPPORT, FAN (FAN HUB)

5 Tiffin Motorhomes, Inc Work Instruction Number: WI-315 Effective Date: 09/22/2016 Revision: 01 Page 1 of 6 Purpose: To provide instructions on properly installing the Fan, Clutch and Adapter on a Cummins ISV engine TOOLS NEEDED: Parts Needed: 1-1/4 Drive Ratchet 2-1/2 Socket 3- Torque Wrench 4- Fan Pulley Wrench 5-10mm socket 1- ACS Fan Horton Fan Clutch Horton Adapter Procedure: 1 Remove factory screws from rear of Horton Clutch 2 Place fan onto rear of clutch with flow of fan toward the front of the clutch 3 Align Fan bolt holes with bolt holes in clutch & reinstall factory screws
