This Required Vehicle Update (RVU) is in effect for 15 months from date of publication. After that date, this RVU will expire and no longer be in effect. Vehicle must meet all of the following criteria: Procedure is valid only for vehicles that show the CL/24M4 code in the ElsaWeb Campaign/Action Information screen on the day of repair. Vehicle must be within the Limited New Vehicle Warranty. Procedure must be performed within the allotted time frame stated in this Technical Service Bulletin. Procedure must be performed on applicable vehicles in Dealer inventory prior to sale. Technical Background A malfunction of fuel pressure sensor G410 (low pressure side) may cause an incorrect fuel pressure reading from the ECM. Page 1 of 5

Installation torque: 15 Nm, 2.0 TFSI engine 22 Nm, 4.2 V8 FSI and 5.2 V10 FSI engine Note: To prevent damage to the engine cover in A3 and TT models, the engine cover stops must be removed in the sequence illustrated in Figure 1. If the vehicle is outside of the specified warranty period, the customer has the option to pay for the repair. Inform your customer in writing by recording on the Repair Order any and all work that was conducted on the vehicle, including any and all updates completed under this Required Vehicle Update Technical Service Bulletin.
