Anti-UV treated, pool chemical resistant ABS gives Aquareva skimmers a bright finish that doesn t fade over time under normal conditions of use. The bodies of the liner and concrete versions of each Aquareva skimmer model are identical. In the event of leaks in a traditional pool fitted with Aquareva skimmers, a reinforced membrane or liner can be easily fitted. The concrete skimmer is transformed into a liner skimmer by the simple addition of the necessary flange, seals and screws. Work site protective covers. The self-adhesive work site covers delivered with each Aquareva skimmer are intended to be fitted over the skimmer to protect the skimmer body and the screw housings and stop them from being damaged or filled in with cement or concrete while the pool is being built. Single type of screw. All the screws required to fit an Aquareva skimmer are made of 18/10 stainless steel and are identical. Therefore it is easy to keep a supply in stock for future requirements. Self-adhesive seals. The liner versions of Aquareva skimmers come with 2 self-adhesive elastomer seals that are very easy to install and resistant to pool treatment chemicals. Box of 2. SL-119 (Liner) skimmers and SB-118 (Concrete) skimmers are sold in boxes of 2, this reduces their cost by 10%. Jet-Vac Jet-Vac replaces the skimmer weir. The Jet Vac floats in the skimmer basket increasing the skimmer s surface suction rate. 4/ Face plate. The face plate on Aquareva skimmers clips onto the flange for a clean finish. 5/ Weir damper. A stopper in the throat of the skimmer lessens the noise made by the weir while the pool water is agitated. 6/ Pre-fix collar. Aquareva skimmers feature a pre-fix collar to enable mounting on prefabricated pool structures. 3/ Choice of skimmer mouths. With Aquareva skimmers you can choose either a wide or a standard mouth / Lateral outlet. A 63 mm PVC spacer can be fitted here between the skimmer and the pool wall to further stabilise the skimmer s seating. 2/ Wide choice of lengths. Thanks to its modular design, the length of the skimmer throat can be adjusted between 20 and 457 mm to adapt to any configuration (coping, automatic cover pit, etc. ) / Locking mechanism. The skimmer lid features a locking mechanism to prevent it from being opened accidently. Good protection for children. Telescopic lid frame. The lid fits into a frame that slides into the body of the skimmer. The height can thus be adjusted to lie flush with the pool deck / 50 mm overflow. This may be connected to waste with standard 50 mm PVC pipes used for filtration. Evacuates water very efficiently in the event of heavy rain. The overflow is sealed by a disc that may be pierced at one of several circular indentations allowing the height of the overflow to be selected in 5 mm increments. 7/ Self-locking skimmer basket. Bayonets protruding from the side of the basket lock it into place in the skimmer. This prevents the basket from floating up when the filtration pump stops. The basket can be lined with a Pool Bag to improve filtration finesse p. 2 9/ Flow regulator The body of the Aquareva skimmer features a mobile flap to adjust the rate at which water is drawn into the skimmer. 10/ Bottom outlet. This 2 tapped outlet accepts a threaded adaptor socket (2 x 63 ou 2 x 50) to connect the skimmer to the filtration system. These adaptor sockets are cheaper than tapped sockets of the same dimensions. The 1 1/2 threading is used to install a gizmo (protects the skimmers against freezing).
