ATTACHMENTS AND BUCKETS (Cont'd) Installation and Removal The loader is equipped with the Bob-iach system. The Bob.:rach is used for fast changing of buckets and attachments.

5 ATTACHMENTS AND BUCKETS (Cont'd) Installation and Removal The loader is equipped with the Bob-iach system. The Bob.:rach is used for fast changing of buckets and attachments. See the Installation Instructions to install other attachments. A WARNING Bob-iach levers have spring tension. Hold lever tightly and release slowly. Failure to obey warning can cause injury. W Pull the Bob-iach levers all the way up. Tilt the Bob-Tach forward. Drive the loader forward until the top edge of the Bob-Tach is completely under the flange of the bucket ~. DO NOT hit the Bob-Tach levers on the bucket. Tilt the Bob-iach backward until the bucket is off the ground and stop the engine OOJ.. A WARNING AVOID INJURY OR DEATH Before you leave the operator's seat: Lower the lift arms, put attachment flat on the ground. Stop the engine. Engage the parking brake. Raise seat bar, move pedals until both lock. W c PI To lock the Bob-iach wedges push down on the levers as shown [g A WARNING Bob.:rach wedges must extend through the holes in attachment. Levers must be fully down and locked. Failure to secure wedges can allow attachment to come off and cause injury or death. 7 ENGINE LUBRICATION SYSTEM Checking Engine Oil Check the oil level every day. Stop the engine and remove the dipstick ~. Keep the oil level between the marks on the dipstick. Use a good quality motor oil that meets API Service Classification of SE or SF (See Oil Chart). SAE 10W 1W.@ll &ill fo TEMPERATURE RANGE ANTICIPATED BEfORE NEXT OIL CHANGE (GASOLINE: USE API CLASSIFICATION SE or SF) Engine Oil and Filter Replacement See the Service Schedule (Page 17) for the service interval for replacing the engine oil. {J Use the following procedure to replace the engine oil and filter: 1. Run the engine until it is at operating temperature. Stop the engine. 2. Open the rear door. 3. Remove the drain plug and drain oil into a container Remove the oil filter [g. 5. Clean the filter housing surface. Put clean oil on the gasket of the new filter. Install the filter and tighten hand tight. 6. Install the oil plug. Remove the filler cap on the rocker arm cover. Put 4 quarts (4 l) of oil in the engine (See the Oil Chart). 7. Start the engine and let it run for about 5 minutes. Stop the engine. Check for leaks and check the oil level. Add oil as needed if it is not at the top mark on the dipstick. A WARNING Always clean up spilled fuel or oil. Keep heat, flames, sparks and lighted tobacco away from fuel and oil. Failure to use care around combustibles can cause explosion or fire which can result in injury or death. W Bobcat Loader
