4 Assali Stefen Trailer Products Assali Stefen warrants to the owner ("Owner") that the Assali Stefen components listed in this publication ( the Components and/or the Component ), which have been installed by an Original Equipment Manufacturer ("OEM") as original equipment in vehicles licensed for on-road use, will be free from defects in material and workmanship. The European Warranty Terms and Conditions ( the Warranty ) covers failures arising out of the defect(s) in material and/or workmanship which occur from the date the trailer is registered, or first enter service (whichever date is the earlier), providing that this date does not exceed six months from the original date of purchase from Assali Stefen. If the axle has not been registered, or has not entered into service within 6 months of being sold by Assali Stefen, the Warranty will start 6 months from the date of build. Duration of Warranty coverage and mileage limitations vary by Component and application and are detailed within this publication. Labour costs associated with the repair or replacement of Components will be agreed and approved in writing by Assali Stefen prior to any work. Genuine Assali Stefen replacement parts (whether new, used or remanufactured) installed under the terms of this Warranty are warranted only for the remainder of the original warranty period, and/or, the mileage limitation set out in this Warranty. This is without prejudice to the availability of any warranty on the replacement part from the Assali Stefen Commercial Vehicle Aftermarket ( CVA ). (Please contact the Assali Stefen CVA for their warranty terms and conditions). Reports: warranty@assalistefen.com WARRANTY COVERAGE IS CONDITIONAL UPON ADHERENCE BY THE OWNER TO APPROVED ASSALI STEFEN INSPECTION INTERVALS, SERVICE INTERVALS AND SERVICE REPLACEMENT PROCEDURES OF COMPONENTS AND/OR ASSEMBLIES AS SPECIFIED IN THE APPLICABLE ASSALI STEFEN PUBLISHED SERVICE LITERATURE. Access to all relevant service literature is available at WARRANTY COVERAGE IS ALSO CONDITIONAL UPON: The Owner having notified Assali Stefen in writing of any damage to the trailer and/or trailer products within a reasonable time following discovery of any such damage and. There not being any payments due to Assali Stefen and/or its authorised dealers and/or its service providers by the Owner in relation to maintenance, repair and/or other work, which have been outstanding for a period of four (4) weeks after the due invoice date. Warranty coverage for certain Components is also conditional upon the use of specific lubricants. For information as to required lubrication and maintenance intervals, please refer to Assali Stefen published service literature. Warranty Terms Assali Stefen authorisation must be obtained at the point of purchase for trailer applications which fall outside the Assali Stefen standard usage specification. Any change in trailer application that may affect the service life of the component parts must be notified to and approved by Assali Stefen. Failure to do so may invalidate Warranty cover. Definition of on-road / off-road On-road refers to having a sealed and metalled surface such as asphalt or concrete. Off-road includes, but is not limited to, unsealed and/or gravel surfaces. NOTE 1: A vehicle is regarded as being in off-road operation even if it departs from asphalt or concrete surfaces for short periods. NOTE 2: Tipper trailers are regarded as off-road unless otherwise specified in their application. This Warranty does not cover normal wear and tear; nor does it cover a Component that fails, malfunctions, or is damaged as a result of (I) improper installation, adjustment, repair or modification (including the use of unauthorised attachments or changes or modification in the vehicle s configuration usage, or vocation from that which was originally approved by Assali Stefen); (II) accident, natural disaster, abuse or improper use (including loading beyond the specified maximum rated carrying capacity); or (III) improper or insufficient maintenance (including deviation from approved lubricants, change intervals or lubrication quantities). 4

5 This Warranty does not cover any component or assembly that is not manufactured or sold or marketed by Assali Stefen. This Warranty does not cover the costs of any repairs, replacements or adjustments to a covered Component which are: Associated with noise; Resulting from the use or installation of non genuine Assali Stefen components or material; Due to vibration resulting from improper operation or misapplication of associated trailer components. Repair and Replacement Components which are covered within the terms of the Warranty shall be repaired or replaced at Assali Stefen's option. Maintenance or installation instruction and use of spare parts not released by Assali Stefen, are excluded from the manufacturer s warranty. Notice of Defect If the Owner discovers a defect in material or workmanship, within the applicable Warranty coverage period as set out in this publication, the Owner must promptly give notice to either Assali Stefen or the dealer from which the vehicle was purchased. Retention of Failed Material Assali Stefen reserves the right to require that all failed materials which are subject to a Warranty claim are available and/or returned to Assali Stefen for review and evaluation. FAILED MATERIAL THAT IS SUBJECT TO A WARRANTY CLAIM MUST BE RETAINED FOR 90 DAYS FROM THE DATE OF NOTIFICATION OF THE DEFECT THE MATERIAL MUST BE STORED, PACKAGED AND LABELLED WITH ALL RELEVANT INFORMATION APPLICABLE TO THE WARRANTY CLAIM. THE MATERIAL MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR RETURN TO ASSALI STEFEN AND/OR IT S AUTHORISED REPRESENTATIVE AT ASSALI STEFEN S REQUEST. FAILURE TO RETAIN AND/OR RETURN SUCH MATERIALMAY INVALIDATE THE WARRANTY CLAIM. THE TIME BETWEEN REPAIR DATE AND WARRANTY CLAIM SUBMISSION SHOULD NOT BE MORE THAN 60 DAYS. FAILURE TO MAKE A CLAIM WITHIN THE REQUISITE TIME PERIOD MAY INVALIDATE THE WARRANTY CLAIM. Assali Stefen reserves the right at any time 5 of request documentation concerning the ownership and registration of the vehicle. Product Specification Assali Stefen reserves the right to alter, amend or change specification of any product without prior notification. Change of Ownership/Transfer of Warranty to New Owner Changes of ownership should be advised to Assali Stefen for immediate change to the rorcare registration documents. Subject to the following conditions: (i) the condition that the Owner does not assert any claim for reimbursement under this Warranty against Assali Stefen; (ii) the new Owner notifying any change in trailer application to Assali Stefen; and (iii) the new Owner declaring to Assali Stefen in writing that it accepts all conditions of this Warranty without limitation, the Owner is entitled to transfer this Warranty with all rights and duties under the Warranty to a new Owner prior to the expiry of the relevant Warranty period. Loss of Profit and Consequential Loss In no event shall Assali Stefen be liable in contract, tort (including negligence or breach of statutory duty) or otherwise howsoever, (i) for any increased costs or expenses, or (ii) for any loss of profit, business, contracts, revenues or anticipated savings or (iii) for any special, incidental, indirect, or consequential damages of anynature whatsoever, including, but not limited to, towing, downtime, lost productivity, cargo damage, taxes, or any other losses or costs resulting from a defective Component covered under the terms of the Warranty. Force Majeure Assali Stefen shall not be liable for delay or failure or the consequences of any delay or failure in performance of its obligations under this Warranty due to Acts of God, fire, explosion, floods, power failure, failure of telecommunication lines, failure or breakdown of plant machinery or vehicles, theft, malicious damage, strikes, or industrial action of any kind labour or material or transportation shortages, war (declared or undeclared), riot, civil disturbances or terrorism, the act of any governmentor authority, legal interferences or prohibitions, defaults on the part of suppliers or subcontractors, and any other causes or circumstances whatsoever beyond Assali Stefen's reasonable control. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction The Warranty Terms and Conditions and all noncontractural matters arising out of or in connection with the Terms and Conditions shall be exclusively governed by and construed in accordance with Italian law.

6 Any claim, dispute or other matter arising out of or in connection with the Warranty Terms and Conditions that can not be amicably resolved between Assali Stefen and the Owner will be submitted to the jurisdiction of the Italian Court. Severance Clause In the event that any provision of the Warranty Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable in whole or in part, such provision or part shall to that extent be deemed not to form part of the Warranty Terms and Conditions but the validity and enforceability of the other provisions of the Warranty Terms and Conditions, shall not be affected. Entire Agreement The European Warranty Terms and Conditions contain the entire agreement as between Assali Stefen and the Owner in respect of warranty and no Assali Stefen employee or dealer or any other party is authorized to make any additional warranty for or on behalf of Assali Stefen. SELF STEER & STEER AXLES Refer to the "Warranty Periods by Geographical Region" on page 39 for details of Zone 1 and Zone 2 countries. Refer to the "Warranty Periods by Geographical Region" pages 39 and 40 for details of alternative warranty figures/values for Zone 2 countries. Note: Zone 2 countries are considered to be "Off- Road" conditions, in respect of all SELF STEER & STEER AXLE assembled with Suspension. Warranty Periods The warranty period for Assali Stefen products is dependant on the country of registration of the vehicle. IMPORTANT: All figures/values quoted in the Axle Warranty, Suspension Warranty and Quick Reference chart sections of this document are applicable to Zone 1 countries only. EUROFLEX 9i & 9e Refer to the "Warranty Periods by Geographical Region" on page 11 for identification of Zone 1, Zone 2 and Zone 3 countries. Refer to the "Warranty Periods by Geographical Region" on pages 11 and 12 for details of alternative warranty figures/values for Zone 2 and Zone 3 countries. Note: Zone 2 and Zone 3 countries are considered to be "Off-Road" conditions, in respect of all products assembled with EUROFLEX 9i and 9e Suspension. EUROFLEX 10 Refer to the "Warranty Periods by Geographical Region" on page 22 for details of Zone 1 and Zone 2 countries. Refer to the "Warranty Periods by Geographical Region" pages 22 and 23 for details of alternative warranty figures/values for Zone 2 countries. Note: Zone 2 countries are considered to be "Off- Road" conditions, in respect of all products assembled with EUROFLEX 10 Suspension. 6

8 Hub Warranty LC Series Axles with Assali Stefen EUROFLEX TM 9i & 9e Suspension Fitted The following duration and extent of warranty cover is applicable whenever a Assali Stefen LC Series axle is purchased together with a Assali Stefen EUROFLEX TM 9i or 9e Air Suspension are assembly by Assali Stefen. A 5 year or 1,000,000 km, whichever comes first, warranty period covering 3 years, parts and labour, the remaining 2 years parts only, is offered for the following components and assemblies: Hub structure, LC comprising the hub and bearing assembly not including wheel studs, auxiliary seal, hub cap, hub cap gasket and fixings and ABS components (where fitted). Note 1: The appropriate ASSALI STEFEN recommended anti-fretting compound, available from Assali Stefen Commercial Vehicle Aftermarket, must be applied to the spindle bearing journal prior to re-mounting the hub assembly on every occasion. Failure to do so may invalidate the warranty cover. Note 2: Under NO circumstances should any attempt be made to remove: The circular spring bearing retaining clip from the hub. The sealed bearing assembly from the hub. Either of the two oil seals integral to the bearing unit from the bearing. The spring clip between the two halves of the inner bearing cone. This WILL damage the hub assembly and invalidate the hub warranty. The duration and extent of warranty cover for all other features of the LC axle remains unchanged from the standard LM/TA Disc or Drum warranty terms as shown below. Warranty LM, TA and TM Series Axles with Assali Stefen EUROFLEX TM 9i & 9e Suspension Fitted The following duration and extent of warranty cover is applicable whenever an Assali Stefen LM,TA or TM Series axle is purchased together with an Assali Stefen EUROFLEX TM 9i or 9e Air Suspension are assembly by Assali Stefen. Effective for product sold from 1 st January A 5 year or 500,000 km, whichever comes first, warranty period covering, 3 years, parts and labour, the remaining 2 year parts only, is offered for the following components and assemblies: Complete beam weld assembly as supplied from Assali Stefen, comprising finished axle beam and all welded brackets (including Air suspension spring seats, and Arms). Disc Brake Assemblies Note 1: In some special cases it may be possible for a third party to weld certain brackets to the axle beam providing prior written approval has been obtained from Assali Stefen Engineering and Assali Stefen welding procedures are adhered to at all times. Failure to do so will invalidate warranty cover. Note 2: This warranty cover will not apply where makes of suspension other than Assali Stefen are used in conjunction with all Assali Stefen LM/TM/TA series axles or in other certain special applications. In such cases the higher rated LM/9300, or TM/TA 22500/25000 beam weld assembly must be used and the warranty period of the welded beam assembly will be reduced as described below. A 3 year or 300,000 km, whichever comes first, warranty period covering, parts and labour is offered for the following components and assemblies: Hub cap and screws. Hub Oil Seal is covered for mechanical failure only and not for wear out Camshaft. Hub structure, LM/TA/TM comprising the hub and bearing assemblies not including wheel studs, hub cap gasket, axle end fixings and ABS components (where fitted). Effective for product sold from 1 st January Note 1: Failure to comply with the Warranty Terms & Conditions detailed in Section 1, will render any warranty claim invalid.

9 Note 2: The appropriate Assali Stefen recommended anti-fretting compound must be applied to the spindle bearing journal prior to remounting the hub assembly on every occasion. Failure to do so may invalidate the warranty cover. A 2 year or 200,000 km, whichever comes first, warranty period covering, parts and labour is offered for the following components and assemblies. Brake Rotors are covered for mechanical failure including ABS teeth and not wear out. Camshaft bearings. Brake shoe or pad assemblies. Brake linings are covered for mechanical failure only and not for wear out. Brake drums are covered for mechanical failure and not for wear out provided that approved Assali Stefen brake linings are used. A 1 year or 100,000 km, or up to first brake reline, whichever comes first, warranty period covers, parts and labour is offered for the following components and assemblies: Axle end fixings in their entirety. Effective for product sold from 1 st January Dust covers and screws. Wheel studs. Cam rollers, Brake anchor pins, excluding seals. Hub cap gasket is covered for mechanical failure only and not for wear out. ABS sensor, bracket and drum brake pole wheel. Brake retaining springs and brake return springs. All other ancillary components not previously listed e.g. brake roller retaining clip, blanking grommets etc. are covered for mechanical failure only and not for wear out. Associated Labour Costs: Labour costs can only be claimed at an agreed rate with the Assali Stefen Service Department prior to work commencing. Warranty LM, LC, TA and TM Series Axles without Assali Stefen EUROFLEX TM 9i & 9e Suspension Fitted The following duration and extent of warranty cover is applicable whenever an Assali Stefen axle is used in conjunction with a make of suspension other than Assali Stefen or whenever an Assali Stefen axle is purchased without an Assali Stefen Air Suspension are assembly by Assali Stefen or in other certain special applications specified by Assali Stefen at the time of purchase. All components and assemblies previously listed with a 5 year or 500,000 km, whichever comes first, warranty period are reduced to a 3 year or 300,000 km, whichever comes first, warranty period covering 2 year parts and labour, remaining 1 year parts only. All components and assemblies previously listed with a 3 year or 300,000 km, whichever comes first, warranty period are reduced to a 1 year or 100,000 km, or up to first brake reline, whichever comes first, warranty period covering parts and labour. All components and assemblies previously listed with a 1 year or 100,000 km, whichever comes first, warranty period remain the same. All labour costs previously covered for the first 3 years of warranty are reduced to the first 2 years or for the total duration of the warranty of the associated component whichever is the shortest. Other Ancillary Equipment supplied by Assali Stefen All ASSALI STEFEN ancillary products are manufactured to the highest quality. Slack Adjusters, 3 year or 300,000km, whichever comes first. Brake Chambers & Spring Brakes, 3 year or 300,000km, whichever comes first. Unless otherwise stated, Aftermarket components are warranted for 1 year or 100,000km, parts only, mechanical failure only. 9

10 ASSALI STEFEN EUROFLEX TM 9i & 9e Suspension Warranty The following duration and extent of warranty cover is applicable whenever Air Suspension ASSALI STEFEN EUROFLEX TM 9i or 9e units are assembled with an Axle by Assali Stefen. A 5 year or 500,000 km, whichever comes first, warranty period covering, 3 years, parts and labour, the remaining 2 years parts only, is offered for the following components and assemblies: Trailing Arms. Pivot Bush Frame Brackets Pedestal Fasteners A 3 year or 300,000 km, whichever comes first, warranty period covering, parts and labour is offered for the following components and assemblies: Shock Absorbers Air Springs Wear Washers Air Suspension ASSALI STEFEN EUROFLEX TM, 9i or 9e supplied in kits covered for 2 years or 200,000 km, whichever comes first, parts and labour. Mechanical Suspension Parts covered for 2 years or 200,000 km, whichever comes first, parts and labour. 10

A 5 year or 1,000,000 km, whichever comes first, warranty period covering 3 years, parts and labour, the remaining 2 years parts only, is offered for the following components and assemblies: Hub structure, LC comprising the hub and bearing assembly not including wheel studs, auxiliary seal, hub cap, hub cap gasket and fixings and ABS components (where fitted). Note 1: The appropriate ASSALI STEFEN recommended anti-fretting compound, available from ASSALI STEFEN Commercial Vehicle Aftermarket, must be applied to the spindle bearing journal prior to re-mounting the hub assembly on every occasion. Failure to do so may invalidate the warranty cover. Note 2: Under NO circumstances should any attempt be made to remove: The circular spring bearing retaining clip from the hub. The sealed bearing assembly from the hub. Either of the two oil seals integral to the bearing unit from the bearing. The spring clip between the two halves of the inner bearing cone. This WILL damage the hub assembly and invalidate the hub warranty. 36 Hub Warranty LC Series Axles with Assali Stefen SELF STEER & STEER AXLE Suspension Fitted The following duration and extent of warranty cover is applicable whenever a Assali Stefen LC Series axle is purchased together with a Assali Stefen STEER AXLE and Air Suspension are assembled by Assali Stefen. A 5 year or 1,000,000 km, whichever comes first, warranty period covering 3 years, parts and labour, the remaining 2 years parts only, is offered for the following components and assemblies: Hub structure, LC comprising the hub and bearing assembly not including wheel studs, auxiliary seal, hub cap, hub cap gasket and fixings and ABS components (where fitted). Note 1: The appropriate ASSALI STEFEN recommended anti-fretting compound, available from Assali Stefen Commercial Vehicle Aftermarket, must be applied to the spindle bearing journal prior to re-mounting the hub assembly on every occasion. Failure to do so may invalidate the warranty cover. Note 2: Under NO circumstances should any attempt be made to remove: The circular spring bearing retaining clip from the hub. The sealed bearing assembly from the hub. Either of the two oil seals integral to the bearing unit from the bearing. The spring clip between the two halves of the inner bearing cone. This WILL damage the hub assembly and invalidate the hub warranty. The duration and extent of warranty cover for all other features of the LC axle remains unchanged from the standard LM/TA Disc or Drum warranty terms as shown below. Warranty LM, TA and TM Series Axles with Assali Stefen SELF STEER & STEER AXLE Suspension Fitted The following duration and extent of warranty cover is applicable whenever an Assali Stefen LM,TA or TM Series axle is purchased together with an Assali Stefen EUROFLEX TM 9i or 9e Air Suspension are assembly by Assali Stefen. Effective for product sold from 1 st January A 5 year or 500,000 km, whichever comes first, warranty period covering, 3 years, parts and labour, the remaining 2 year parts only, is offered for the following components and assemblies: Complete beam weld assembly as supplied from Assali Stefen, comprising finished axle beam and all welded brackets (including Air suspension spring seats, and Arms). Disc Brake Assemblies. Stub axle. Note 1: In some special cases it may be possible for a third party to weld certain brackets to the axle beam providing prior written approval has been obtained from Assali Stefen Engineering and Assali Stefen welding procedures are adhered to at all times. Failure to do so will invalidate warranty cover. Note 2: This warranty cover will not apply where makes of suspension other than Assali Stefen are used in conjunction with all Assali Stefen LM/TM/TA series axles or in other certain special applications. In such cases the higher rated LM/9300, or TM/TA 22500/25000 beam weld assembly must be used and the warranty period of the welded beam assembly will be reduced as described below. A 3 year or 300,000 km, whichever comes first, warranty period covering, parts and labour is offered for the following components and assemblies: Hub cap and screws. Hub Oil Seal is covered for mechanical failure only and not for wear out Camshaft. Hub structure, LM/TA/TM comprising the hub and bearing assemblies not including wheel studs, hub cap gasket, axle end fixings and ABS components (where fitted). Effective for product sold from 1 st January Note 1: Failure to comply with the Warranty

Failure to do so may invalidate the warranty cover. A 2 year or 200,000 km, whichever comes first, warranty period covering, parts and labour is offered for the following components and assemblies. Brake Rotors are covered for mechanical failure including ABS teeth and not wear out. Camshaft bearings. Brake shoe or pad assemblies. Brake linings are covered for mechanical failure only and not for wear out. Brake drums are covered for mechanical failure and not for wear out provided that approved Assali Stefen brake linings are used. Note 1: Excludes damages due to off-road usage. A 1 year or 100,000 km, or up to first brake reline, whichever comes first, warranty period covers, parts and labour is offered for the following components and assemblies: Axle end fixings in their entirety. Effective for product sold from 1 st January Dust covers and screws. Wheel studs. Cam rollers, Brake anchor pins, excluding seals. Hub cap gasket is covered for mechanical failure only and not for wear out. ABS sensor, bracket and drum brake pole wheel. Brake retaining springs and brake return springs. All other ancillary components not previously listed e.g. brake roller retaining clip, blanking grommets etc. are covered for mechanical failure only and not for wear out. Associated Labour Costs: Warranty LM, LC, TA and TM Series Axles without Assali Stefen Suspension Fitted The following duration and extent of warranty cover is applicable whenever an Assali Stefen axle is used in conjunction with a make of suspension other than Assali Stefen or whenever an Assali Stefen axle is purchased without an Assali Stefen Air Suspension are assembly by Assali Stefen or in other certain special applications specified by Assali Stefen at the time of purchase. All components and assemblies previously listed with a 5 year or 500,000 km, whichever comes first, warranty period are reduced to a 3 year or 300,000 km, whichever comes first, warranty period covering 2 year parts and labour, remaining 1 year parts only. All components and assemblies previously listed with a 3 year or 300,000 km, whichever comes first, warranty period are reduced to a 1 year or 100,000 km, or up to first brake reline, whichever comes first, warranty period covering parts and labour. All components and assemblies previously listed with a 1 year or 100,000 km, whichever comes first, warranty period remain the same. All labour costs previously covered for the first 3 years of warranty are reduced to the first 2 years or for the total duration of the warranty of the associated component whichever is the shortest. Other Ancillary Equipment supplied by Assali Stefen All ASSALI STEFEN ancillary products are manufactured to the highest quality. Slack Adjusters, 3 year or 300,000km, whichever comes first. Brake Chambers & Spring Brakes, 3 year or 300,000km, whichever comes first. Unless otherwise stated, Aftermarket components are warranted for 1 year or 100,000km, parts only, mechanical failure only. Labour costs can only be claimed at an agreed rate with the Assali Stefen Service Department prior to work commencing. 37
