2 News Vehicle Technical Information (VTI) now available to all current DS users Basic Level technical information is now supplied FOC to all users as long as the DS user licence is up to date, if the license becomes out of date the user will be able to see the headings but not view any of the data The Basic Level Pack covers Identification, maintenance, repair manuals, adjustment data, lubricants & fluids, recalls VTI for DSC s available June 1st DSC members-as long as the DSC membership is current, the Basic level Pack + the Technical Pack & Smart Pack will be provided FOC The DSC pack Includes Technical Pack & Smart Pack which covers -Fuses & relays; technical drawings; SmartFIX(Technical Service Bulletins, TSB s); SmartCASE(verified fixes & tips) VTI upgrade to the Ultimate Pack available June 1 st Available as upgrade from Basic or DSC Pack The Ultimate pack covers -Everything in basic and DSC Pack, plus -VESA (guided diagnostics of components); repair times; comfort wiring diagrams Quick Start Guides and Software Overviews New support documents for DS150/350/450/650 will be loaded on to the DPSS website (delphiautoparts.com) by the end of the May in all languages These support documents give a brief over view of hardware and software and basic functionality Software demo guides, Flight recorder instructions, install instructions and Truck software will also be provided Counter fit Exchange units are not allowed To confirm, counterfeit goods are NOT accepted as part of any exchange offers. 3 Overview Just some of the features from the DS software: Of course, we ve got all the usual read/erase fault codes and recode/activate components, but here are some highlights you might be aware of: Complete System scan - detail fault codes by system type Job Card Record the work you do and show your customer by detailing fault codes and live data to the job card you can add your company logo too Fault code status and history this will detail not only the code, but determine if it s permanent or intermittent and gives you a snapshot of data from when the code was logged ECU swap outs Copy and paste new/old ECU settings Help files full instructions with real pictures showing how to complete programming procedures such as DPF regenerations and injector coding Adaptation settings Clear/reset adaptations for throttle valve, idling, ignition timing, inlet manifold, knock control, lambda regulation, misfiring, mixture adaptation and much more Key Coding Not just coding for new keys, but ECU identification of keys as well as locking keys for lost or stolen units ECU/Immobilizer Synchronisation Required when new modules are fitted if ECU s are locked Service light resets Not just putting out the light, but change and reset variable service time and oil values DLC Locator Real life pictures of connector locations not just wiring diagrams Flight recorder Complete one man road tests by recording live data and review when back in the workshop Injector code reading read the current code of the injector (it can of course recode them too) 3
