2 Briton price list Commercial Terms (Subject to Change) (In addition to Terms and Conditions of Sale as detailed on inside of back cover) Commercial Terms 2 Carriage Charges Same Day Despatch Order Placement Additions to Existing Orders Order Amendments and/or Cancellations Prices/Discounts Delivery Dates Returns carriage for orders under flat charge for key orders only. 20 carriage for all orders delivered direct to site (mainland UK only). Next day or express delivery at customer request - additional charges at cost. Unless agreed otherwise with our Customer Care Team, orders requiring same day despatch must be received before 2.00pm. Supply/despatch will be subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed. All orders must be confirmed in writing (fax, , etc) - verbal orders will not be actioned/processed until written confirmation is received. These will only be accepted if original order has not already been processed/entered by us. Cancellations/amendments for special, bespoke or 'to order' items will not be accepted if goods have already been produced or are already in transit to us from one of our overseas facilities/ suppliers. The fact that we have not yet despatched such items to you does not mean an amendment or cancellation can or will be accepted. All amendments and cancellations must be agreed/approved in writing by our Customer Care Team. In some cases it is possible that these will not be accepted or a cancellation/amendment charge may be applied. All pricing queries need to be notified in writing to customer care within 7 days of invoice date. Scheduled Ship Date (SSD) is an indicator of when goods are scheduled to be despatched - these dates may be subject to change from time to time without advance notice. Non-standard finishes, non-stocked lines and special/bespoke items will not be accepted back for credit. A minimum 25% re-stocking charge will be applied on all agreed returns No goods will be accepted back for credit unless authorisation has been obtained from our Customer Care Team and an Authorised Returns Note (valid for 30 days) has been issued by a member of the Customer Care Team. Where a return has been authorised the customer must return the goods within 30 days. Returns (continued) Faulty Returns Delivery Discrepancies Payment Site Visits (UK Mainland) Contra Charges If upon receipt the goods are found to be in a 'non saleable' condition, no credit will be issued and goods will be returned and an Admin charge (min. 25) may be invoiced. Any unauthorised returns will not be processed and goods will be disposed of after 10 days if return is not resolved by the customer. All requests for product to be returned, which is claimed to be faulty, must first be authorised by Allegion (UK) Ltd. The Technical Support dept will arrange collection of product for inspection by our Quality dept. If the product is found to be faulty due to materials/assembly/etc and within warranty, then a free of charge replacement will be despatched. Where the product is found not to be faulty, or if the fault has occurred due to misuse/abuse/mis-specification/poor installation etc, then the product will be returned to the customer, who will be liable for the collection and associated carriage costs. Any unauthorised returns will not be processed and goods will be disposed of after 10 days if return is not resolved by the customer. Please quote the original Invoice Number when enquiring about returns. Delivery discrepancies (shortages/damages etc) MUST be reported/ confirmed in writing within 3 working days of goods being delivered. Requests for Proof of Delivery MUST be received in writing within 14 days of date of invoice. Any missing components within a finished boxed product MUST be reported in writing within 7 working days of goods being delivered. Terms are ex-works and therefore invoices are dated to reflect the date of despatch from Allegion (UK) Ltd. Invoices will therefore not be re-dated to reflect the date of receipt. Where required/requested/appropriate/necessary, Allegion (UK) Ltd will arrange for a technical representative/engineer of the Company to attend site in order to investigate a reported fault. This service will be provided free of charge initially - however, where it is subsequently proved that the fault/problem was not as a direct result of faulty manufacture or defect in materials and it is proved that the problem had resulted due to other factors (incorrect installation, wiring, incorrect specification, abuse, misuse etc) a minimum site visit charge of 250 will be invoiced. In some instances, a purchase order may be requested/required prior to a site visit being made/agreed. Unless specifically agreed in writing in advance by Allegion (UK) Ltd, the Company will not accept any Contra Charges, costs, fines or penalties in relation to possible late supply of product/orders/ services etc.

4 Briton price list Price List Format The prices shown are recommended retail prices (RRP) effective from 1st January Prices are in pounds sterling ( ) and are exclusive of VAT. Where a space appears in the price matrix, this indicates that the product is not available in that finish as a standard option. Some finish headings bring together certain colours and finishes, for instance, door closers in Normbau colours and brown-bronze (code: BE) are all the same price, and shown under the general heading 'Colour'. For details of what finishes are included under each finish heading refer to the relevant section divider. The unit column indicates how the product is sold. This can be each, pairs or sets. In addition to this, some prepack items are sold in pack quantities. The heading shown in the darker coloured band indicates the product series. 5 Product Highlights Briton 4700 Series The Briton Specification Series of door hardware is a high quality, high specification range of lever and pull handle door furniture in satin stainless steel. The range encompasses the complete hardware requirement of the large majority of doorsets. Precision engineered levers are prefixed to slimline concealed fix roses with bolt through torx screws for added security. All lever furniture achieves Grade 4 of EN 1906, the highest grade of use within the standard. All stainless steel construction Grade 304 with Grade 3 corrosion resistance to EN The range is comprehensively tested to EN 1634 for use in timber fire doors up to 90 minutes and steel doors up to 4 hours.
