The engine s high trque means it is pssible t fit rear axles with a selectin f fast ratis with ut raising engine revs. This has a psitive effect n fuel cnsumptin. The D13C is available with pwer utputs f 380, 420, 460 and 500 hp fr Eur 5. In additin, the engine is avail able in an EEV (Enhanced Envirnmental friendly Vehicles) versin prducing 420, 460 and 500 hp, with even lwer emissins f smke and particulates. Engine D11C The trque curve is flat and the pwer is n tap thrughut the rev range. The D11C has the same rati between strke and bre as its successful bigger brther, the D13C. This is ne f the secrets behind its drive ability and sheer pulling pwer. The pwer take-ff is lcated at the rear f the engine, linked t the flywheel. The pwer is thus prvided withut any need fr cmplex gears. Maximum utput is a generus 1000 Nm. Fr Eur 5, the engine is available with pwer utputs f 330, 370, 410 and 450 hp.
