This innovative tablet holder from the modular travel and comfort system range allows rear seat passengers to use a tablet conveniently and flexibly. It features a swivelling axis so that the tablet can be positioned either vertically or horizontally, and it can tilt and lock into place to keep it at the perfect angle. The modular travel and comfort system base module, which enables you to connect the tablet holder to a headrest, must be ordered separately Action camera holder For moving moments: you can use the action camera holder to attach compatible action cameras to the modular travel and comfort system. This allows you to do things such as keep an eye on children travelling in the rear seats. You can stream the images directly to your vehicle s information display, 1,2 and with the swivelling, lockable arm and 360 rotating bracket with marked degree intervals, you can easily align the camera with the area you wish to view. 24 Volkswagen Genuine LinkKit The LinkKit attaches to the centre console on the front passenger side and is compatible with a number of different mobile phones. The folding mechanism in the universal mobile phone aerial coupling pocket holds the device securely in place but can be conveniently released at the press of a button. The existing aerial connection on the pocket provides a connection to a window aerial or external aerial. This can improve the reception quality and reduce power consumption. 02 Volkswagen Genuine CarStick LTE The Volkswagen CarStick LTE can be used to generate an internet connection for our mobile online services (Volkswagen CarNet) so you can use them without having to tether a smartphone. It also allows you to create a Wi-Fi hotspot in your vehicle in seconds. Simply insert a suitable SIM card 1 into the Volkswagen CarStick LTE and connect it to the Discover Media navigation system. You can then connect any Wi-Fi enabled device to your own on-board network. Simply plug it into the vehicle's USB port and off you go. 03 PhoneKit Bluetooth hands-free system Enjoy mobile freedom with the PhoneKit hands-free system. It connects to your phone via Bluetooth so you can keep your hands on the wheel while you talk. The system is operated via an illuminated 3-button remote control panel. This is the only visible part of the easy-to-install system. 04 AppConnect activation document AppConnect includes three innovative technologies that you can use to display your smartphone apps on the touchscreen of your Volkswagen infotainment system: MirrorLink, Apple s new CarPlay function 2 and Google s Android 2 Auto function 2. MirrorLink enables you to connect your MirrorLink -compatible smartphone to your vehicle and conveniently operate selected apps via your infotainment system screen. With Android 2 Auto from Google, 2 you can safely use your own smartphone apps for the Android operating system while driving 3. And with CarPlay from Apple, 2 you can control selected apps from your iphone 2,3 while on the road. Using the apps is as intuitive as it is on your iphone 2 itself. The Start is an ideal entry level solution that provides all of the basic functions you require. All versions come with free lifetime map updates and are preloaded with map data for 23 European countries (Start 52 WEU). 07 Volkswagen DataPlug The Volkswagen DataPlug transmits real-time vehicle data to your smartphone via Bluetooth. Together with the Volkswagen ConnectedVan smartphone app, it can be used to display and analyse a wide variety of data. The 16-pin connector plugs into the vehicle s OBD2 port and does not require a separate power supply. It keeps the driver fully informed about the condition of their vehicle. Volkswagen's in-house crash tests are carried out at speeds and acceleration rates higher than those required under the DIN and ISO/PAS norms and the City Crash test because Volkswagen believes that its own City Crash Plus tests at 30 km/h and with a 20 % overload on the roof are more 01 max. 100 kg realistic than the standards set by DIN and ISO. The City Crash test simulates a rear-end collision in the inner city at a moderate speed of approximately 17 km/h. Operating the foot lever activates the folding mechanism, which in turn allows you to open the luggage compartment, even when the bicycles are already fixed to the carrier. The preconfigured quick-action clamps make it easy to lock the supporting bar securely in place. The innovative, removable spacers with anti-theft locking mechanisms and quick-release fasteners make the carrier even easier to use. The supporting bar folds down flat so you can easily stow the carrier away.
