You can register using the enclosed entry form which is binding. The closing date is 03 May, Entries without signed Conditions of Participation will not be considered. 2 Regulations of the sport auto-driftchallenge ) Registration for the sport auto-driftchallenge 2010 is made by filling out the enclosed entry form which is binding. The entry fee of 130 (incl. German VAT at 19%) has to be deposited in due time by May 04, 2010 into the bank account mentioned in the cover letter. When registering, please state the keyword DriftChallenge as well as the event location and date. After the closing date there will be an additional fee of 50, and participation cannot be guaranteed. 2) The participating drivers must hold a valid driving licence and are obliged to present it upon registration at the Race Office. Furthermore, the organisers can inspect the driving licence at any time. 3) It is absolutely mandatory to wear a helmet. All racing helmets complying with the current safety regulations are allowed. 4) On site the organiser will give out sponsoring stickers that are mandatory advertising and that have to be placed on the designated areas of the registered car. When registering at the Race Office, all participants will receive directions on where to apply the stickers. 5) Only one person can register and drive one and the same car. The cars must possess towing hooks which have to be marked with a 10 cm long red, yellow or white arrow (in contrast to the colour of the vehicle). 6) The cars have to comply with the noise control directives required on the racetrack (max. 95 db). They have to be covered by a liability insurance but do not necessarily need to be road-legal. 7) For individual qualifying laps no safety cage is required. For participation in twin battle races and for the team evaluation a safety cage with side impact protection is required. 8) The number of participants is limited to a total of 60. The editorial staff reserves the right to decline registrations without giving reasons. Cancellation of the Event The organiser reserves the right to cancel the event up to seven days prior to the beginning due to force majeure or economic unviability. For the undersigned, whose vehicle is not road-legal, a third party insurance for personal injury, property damage and financial damage must be taken out according to legal requirements. For reasons of safety it is absolutely necessary to follow the instructions given by the organiser s staff during the event. If an undersigned offends the code of driving conduct, sport auto is authorised at its own discretion to exclude him from further participation. The enclosed Rules for Spectators from Hockenheim-Ring GmbH must be adhered to. Stepping on the gas pedal when the vehicle is standing on or stuck in the gravel or sliding into it, is strictly prohibited. Personal injuries and/or damages to property due to flying gravel are likely to result. You must wait for the recovery vehicle. The undersigned takes part in the event at his own risk. As far as legal possibilities are concerned, the undersigned waives any claims against Motor Presse Stuttgart GmbH & Co. KG, its management and employees as well as against any other auxiliary persons in case of property damage or financial damage the undersigned suffers from in connection with the event. This liability exclusion is also effective in favour of third parties that sport auto makes use of while carrying out the event as well as in favour of the proprietor or otherwise authorised individuals on the premises the event is carried out on. The undersigned pledges to forego damage claims he may possibly be entitled to from Hockenheim- Ring GmbH and any further track operating companies and organisers as well as from the sport auto editorial department and its auxiliary persons. Attention: Fireworks of any type during the sport auto-tuner GP/sport auto DriftChallenge 2010 require a special permission from the authorities. One week prior to the event at the latest the organiser has to be presented with an official permission from the relevant authorities. Furthermore, the safety measures implemented and the safety staff on site during the fireworks display have to be confirmed in writing. Apart from that, fireworks of any type are strictly prohibited! 7 Dear visitors to the race, R u l e s f o r S p e c t a t o r s by Hockenheim-Ring GmbH at Hockenheimring Baden-Wuerttemberg Welcome to Hockenheim. We wish you a pleasant stay here and at the same time would like to call your attention to the following points: Every spectator is required to have a valid admission ticket that entitles him to access to the area stated on the ticket only. If someone enters the premises without a valid admission ticket, it will be reported to the police. If you temporarily leave your seat you have to request a re-admission ticket from the stewards. Only the original admission ticket together with the re-admission ticket entitle you to re-enter the area for spectators. Please show both tickets to the stewards without being asked. Lost or stolen tickets will not be replaced. Please keep your tickets in a safe place. Please keep clear of the stairways leading up and down the grandstand. If you need help you will also expect the medical service to be able to reach you without any obstruction. Bringing along bulky objects (i.e. coolers, beverage crates, glass containers, folding chairs) as well as pyrotechnical devices, weapons and similar items or animals is not permitted. Camping or setting up trailers and mobile homes is only permitted in the designated areas. Please park your passenger cars in the designated car parks and let the stewards and police instruct you where exactly to park. Besides, the German road traffic act also applies to Hockenheim. Open fire and the displaying of fireworks are strictly prohibited. This highly endangers yourself and other spectators. Please follow the instructions from stewards and officials; these individuals add a great deal to the success of the event, also in your interest. It is prohibited to enter areas not explicitly open to spectators (i.e. the racetrack, escape routes and restricted areas). Not only do you endanger yourself and other visitors but also make yourself liable to prosecution for trespassing. Please help us protect the environment. If you want to dispose of litter please use the waste bins that are provided. Hockenheim-Ring GmbH is not liable for any damage to persons or property excepting those resulting from intentional violations or gross negligence of duties. This also applies to damage to hearing resulting from high noise levels due to engine noise. Please equip yourself with ear protection. Please be aware that photography in the grandstand is only possible to a limited extent and only for private purposes. More details can be found in the section photography and filming on our website The admission ticket holder agrees without being remunerated by the organiser to the fact that within the context of the event there will be pictures taken, copied, sent as well as used audio-visually. This agreement is not limited locally and is for an indefinite period of time. As everybody should be able to enjoy the motorsports offered at Hockenheimring Baden- Wuerttemberg, we ask you to respect these rules and show understanding for the supervisory staff.
