Advanced pressure seal design and pure graphite gasket rings to ensure high tightness and to comply with the Health, Safety and Environment requirements for fugitive emissions control. Supplied as swing check and tilting disc configurations. Slam-free operation offered by tilting disc configuration. Special constructions/materials, bolted bonnet configuration, screw down check valve configuration - all available upon request. General application Specifically thought to satisfy the requirements of the power industry, the Raimondi high pressure forged check valves are also indicated for use in any high temperature application (i.e. chemical, petrochemical, offshore plants). 6 Calculation of Pressure Drop I The coefficient CV is the flow rate of water in gallons per minute at 60 F flowing through a valve with a pressure drop of 1 psi. We have determined from calculation and flow test the coefficients for different valve types and sizes. The results are shown in the table.
