2 About Us CAFRO is the name of a South African tribe, in whose territories the first diamond fields were discovered. This imaginative name chosen by Giovanni Mancina, founder of the Company in September 1955, brought luck to its business, since today CAFRO is a market leader in the field of diamond and CBN tools for precision mechanics. 60 years later, the third generation of the Mancina family is now carrying on a heritage made of total dedication and technological knowledge. At its headquarters in via Raimondi 55 in Fino Mornasco, in 3 industrial buildings covering a total of 6500 square meters, today 75 people are employed. CAFRO is certified according to the ISO 9001 norm for Quality, to the ISO norm for the Environment and to the OHSAS norm for Health and Safety.
