All of our courses comply with the same high standards, so you can confidently choose to participate in our cars, or your own car. Working through the various training levels, you can finesse your driving style step by step, from the basics of vehicle control to professional driving skills. Maximum performance is about more than horsepower and torque alone. To harness raw power, you not only need advanced technology, you also need a solid repertoire of driving techniques. To push the limits, you firstly have to explore your own. All of our programs have the same goal in mind: handing over the reins to you and showing you how to use them. Throughout the program you will be challenged with a variety of advanced driving exercises such as four wheel skid and drifting on the skid pan to finely hone and finesse your driving skills, step by step. Individual instruction concentrates on vehicle control at higher speeds, using the correct racing lines and introducing trail braking with full lapping. Focusing on specific driving skills, lap after lap, improves vehicle command. While accurate and effective corner braking and avoiding unnecessary steering inputs provide the practice essential to finely tune your skills. Here you can familiarise yourself with the respective sequence of bends and find the optimum line before progressing to the Master and GT3 Cup. With the help of one-on-one coaching and sophisticated technology (electronic data is analysed and de-briefed by engineers), you will receive all the training you need to achieve competence in correct steering into corners and learn how to work the accelerator and brake pedals for optimum response. You also receive coaching in the advanced driving skills needed to pilot these cars at high speeds, with confidence, lap after lap. Using state-of-the-art data acquisition, your instructor and engineer monitor your progress and make adjustments to lines, braking, shifting and steering to build your confidence and abilities. Instructors led by Bathurst winner and Chief Instructor Tomas Mezera will work closely with you to enhance your skills. Our engineer and your instructor will analyse data with you to improve on your lap time and consistency. At the end of the course, you will have a much more advanced understanding of your own capabilities and the analysis and use of data acquisition to keep monitoring and improving your performance. The courses also tackle the less spectacular, but no less important, day-to-day issues such as throttle control and steering skills. 15 Camp4S A course lasting several days for intermediate participants Learning how to stay in control has rarely been such an emotional experience. Camp4S is aimed at intermediate drivers looking to improve their driving on snow and ice. With 1.5-mm spikes on each tyre, you ll learn how to handle a Porsche on black ice and snow, in some of the most demanding situations. Snow and ice are the perfect surfaces on which to seriously improve your vehicle control. A huge amount of practice is necessary before a driver instinctively feels how to react correctly. This is why you spend as much time as possible behind the wheel. After a brief revision of the basics, new training units are covered. Here, the aim is to optimise your vehicle control and to find the racing line even on low-traction surfaces. Every day, the Porsche Driving Experience instructors analyse your learning success. And then there is the serious fun of harnessing these new skills to let your Porsche off the leash, on pure fields of snow and ice. Under professional guidance, you learn a variety of specific drift techniques and practise these on specially prepared handling courses. After completing this course, you ll never be glad to see the end of Winter again. 16 Ice-Force A course lasting several days for advanced participants The best way to make the learning curve steeper? On long drifts. On our Ice-Force training course, the focus is on how to find and follow the racing line on an icecovered circuit. With all-wheel drive and 4-mm spikes on each tyre, you ll experience incredible lateral acceleration on snow and ice. The theory session provides a solid foundation for the practical training. In addition to stabilising braking techniques, the most important aspect of driving on the ice circuit is knowing how to steer correctly. The training also includes heeland-toeing and using advanced load-changing responses for safer cornering. Take to the handling courses with or without electronic driving aids to see what a difference they can make. Porsche instructors explain the basic laws of physics as they apply to driving and vehicle handling. Training is conducted in small groups to ensure that the instructors have sufficient time to devote to you and your individual training success. The course is the ideal opportunity to improve and augment your driving skills under professional guidance. The facility s extremely spacious handling courses stretch for miles and offer plenty of scope for long drifts as well as the height of driving pleasure. Driving a number of different Porsche models with various drive concepts, you will be continually presented with new challenges and learn how to confidently deal with typical handling characteristics on snow and ice, step by step.
