Special track pieces allow drivers to switch lanes and overtake in corners at the press of a button on the new Sport Digital hand throttles. System uses Optical Sensor technology. Sport Digital also offers users 9 different race modes, hand throttles with adjustable settings and will be available in a ready to race set. The Hand control has three controls: One for throttle, one for changing lanes the other for brake. Sport Digital is compatible with existing Scalextric Sport and Classic track as well as the non-digital SCX track, special micro chip-fitted cars will be available along with chips for retro-fitting recent Scalextric cars.
