A displacement that is now recognized to be the ideal size for the practice of modern enduro racing. Other manufacturers now offer intermediate displacements, however Sherco is one step ahead of the pack with the new 2013 long stroke engine which is even better for the application. 4 5

4 450 IR 510 IR thrills i ir 2013 Graphics It was the first enduro model that was equipped with fuel injection, a system that has been steadily refined over the years. A motorcycle that has been perfectly developed and tested under the harsh conditions of the Dakar. The 450 is an excellent value in the displacement class and is extremely effective in enduro racing. 5 WP fork: Brembo brakes: Semi-perimeter frame: The 48 mm diameter WP fork receives new internal adjustments that improve comfort on small bumps. The 2013 fork also provides increased steering precision. This is the famous Brembo brake that the Sherco team has incorporated, it provides the power and feel that is perfect for enduro racing. In 2012, after extensive testing, Sherco adopted the semi-perimeter frame which is manufactured using chrome molybdenum steel. This is a design that was chosen for its perfect adaptation to the practice of modern enduro racing and casual riding. The individual frame sections vary depending upon the forces that will be applied to them.
