By modifying the temperture of the emitter, its pek emitted wvelength will chnge ccording to Wien s displcement lw (see pg ). All emitters will emit rnge of wvelengths ove nd elow their pek vlue. By crefully considering the rod side-nds of the emitted rdition nd sorption, it is possile to design systems tht will enhnce the het trnsfer rtes t different stges of the heting process.
