3 RCS RCS Series What is Robo Cylinder? Robo Cylinder is an electric actuator that employs ball screw, linear guide and AC Servo motor. Using the knowhow obtained from manufacturing 1 thousand axis robots, while retaining the features such as high rigidity, acc/decl, and speed control, the price has been lowered to match that of rodless pneumatic cylinders. Multiple points positioning up to 16 points is possible. Able to maintain position in push mode just like a pneumatic cylinder (push mode). Simply input the desired positions using numerical values. No prograing is necessary. Repeatability of ±0.02. Operating cost is 1/3 of an air cylinder. 5 RCS Series RCS Series is the next generation electric actuator that employs a highspeed, constant thrust force motor, which maintains constant payload at speed ranging from low to high. There are many variations available, including Absolute Type, RB75 Short Type, and RA 35 Slim Type. High Rigidity Although slider type is very compact, its base is carefully designed to incorporate rigidity and therefore, the whole actuator has high rigidity. Many Variations Slider Type is available in Inine and Side Types. Rod Type is available in Slim Type, Short Type, and Flat Type for various applications. 10 RCS Series RCS Actuator Check Points Speed Speeds from 1/sec to maximum for each position. For types with long strokes, the maximum speed will decrease at longer lengths. Please check the specifications of each machine type. SS/SSR, SM/SMR are available in increments and the rest are set in increments. Please be cautious of intereference with peripheral devices. Positioning Repeatability The positioning repeatability is approximately ±0.02 ~ ±0.05. Payload Please make sure that the payload does not exceed specification value. The payload displayed value is the value set in each machine type according to the acceleration and weight requirements. Be sure to check your moment load requirments and keep them within the range of allowable value of Ma, Mb and Mc. The standard Rod Type can no be used with radial load on the rod.
