4 General Information KFV Multi-Point Locks Benefits: Corrosion resistant and qualified for hurricane tests A strong drive gear mechanism enables multi-point locking and thus promotes higher levels of resistance to forced entry, sound proofing and thermal insulation Hookbolts close from bottom to top permitting easy opening and closing even if the door settles to a lower level The steel hookbolts make the forcing apart of the door sash and frame more difficult Smooth locking and minimal effort is required to engage or disengage the additional hookbolts and shootbolts Top and bottom shootbolts draw the door panel into frame Due to a mishandling device in the main lock case, the handle can only be actuated, when the door is completely closed, thus no damages on the frame or floor can occur Deadbolt on the main lock is guarded against sawing KFV multi-point locks are reversible and can be used on right or left handed doors Extensive selection of accessories KFV quality oriented product policy the quality management system is certified in accordance with DIN EN ISO

5 Multi-Point Lock For Single Doors High-Security AS 4960 CP Hookbolt Mishandling device Hookbolt Corrosion resistant multi-point lock for single doors qualified for hurricane tests and therefore ideal for coastal regions. The additional lock cases are each fitted with a hookbolt, which ensure extra protection against intruders. Due to a mishandling device in the main lock case the handle can only be actuated when the door is completely closed, and therefore no damages on the frame or floor can occur. AS 7006 CP Inactive sash AS 7961 CP Active sash KFV has developed a corrosion resistant, Dade-County hurricane tested multi-point lock especially for double doors ideal for coastal regions. As no T-astragal is needed a better thermal and noise insulation is guaranteed. The additional hookbolts and the vertical locking shootbolts ensure extra protection against intruders. Due to a mishandling device in the main lock case the handle can only be actuated when the door is completely closed, and therefore no damages on the frame or floor can occur.
