4 SELECTION PRINCIPLE Before selecting your pump from e following pages, it is necessary to obtain a certain amount of details concerning e transported product and e installation. An information sheet is available to assist you in is process. You can obtain e sheet from our technical team. List of essential details: The viscosity of e transported fluid and its temperatures during e process. (Do not forget e variation in e viscosity of e liquid when e system is restarted after a stoppage). Does e fluid contain any abrasive particles (paint pigments for example)? The ph of e liquid in order to determine e types of compatible materials. The suction head and e maximum discharge pressure. The output required in e installation. Connection diameters. Pump selection meod. - The pump size should be selected from e performance tables according to e viscosity and output required. - The rotation speed should be selected from e performance tables according to e required pressure and output in e pump. Contact us in case of fluids containing abrasives. - Check e compatibility of e fluid based on its ph wi e metals in e pump from e preselection guide according to usage limits. Section 2 in e pump codification contains details of e different material configurations. A table of transported products summarises e main fluids which are compatible wi R pumps. You may also contact us to obtain details of e variants according to e pumped fluids. Depending on e choice made in e previous paragraph, it is necessary to check e suction head, e maximum discharge pressure, e flow required in e installation and e connection diameters. If ese details are incompatible wi e installation you should choose an appropriate pump size and rotation speed. Select e external options for your pump from e list of codification variants. The additional code should also be used for pumps delivered wi a motor. Depending on e result from paragraph 4, e gear motor should be determined according to e rotation speed.
