Adjust screws 2 and 4 to keep the centre of the ground pivot in axial line with the centre of the top pivot. 2. Turning the valves (screws + 2 below) clockwise decreases closing speed; turning the valves anti-clockwise increases the closing speed in the respective adjustment section.
