3 Crowning Compensation When bending with conventional press brakes, the ram will defl ect opposite of the bed, causing variations in the bend angle along the part. With the PBH Series Pressbrakes, the bed is also caused to automatically defl ect parallel with the ram under CNC control through the use of the triple structure table incorporating hydraulic compensation cylinders thus ensuring consistent bend angles all along the work piece. Control Technology The PBH Series of pressbrakes utilises a full loop electro-hydraulic servo control, with independently controlled Y¹ and Y² axis and upper to lower beam feedback measurement through linear scales they are mechanically decoupled from the side frame by independently measuring frames.
