1 Deaf Bay Area Pker Series Guidelines Seasn #8 Any changes t these guidelines will be determined and apprved by the majrity f the pker players that attended past series at the free rll (n qurum required) at the end f every seasn during the mnth f June. The name f the infrmal pker rganizatin and turnament shall be Deaf Bay Area Pker Series r BAPS. BAPS is rganized exclusively fr the Deaf pker cmmunity and is pen t any player that wuld like t participate. There shall nt be any membership fees t be part f the series. The series will be limited t hst site capacity players per turnament. There shall be a BAPS cmmittee f 5 r mre individuals t carry ut these duties: Turnament Directr, Operatins and Prizes (Eric Kunze) Webmaster, Event Cmmunicatins - , Facebk (David Smari) Turnament Lcatin, Hst and Set-up (Jaime Jackersn, Liz Grigsby, David Harvey) Turnament Statistics (Jerry Grigsby) Finance (Darla Hlmes) Auditrs (BAPS Players) Advisrs (Jey Baer, Clark Brke, Nathan Mntya) Turnament dates will be fr the secnd (except fr few) Saturday n certain mnths starting at 4:00pm (early registrants will receive $1000 add-n): August (8/12/17), September (9/9/17), Octber (10/7/17), Nvember (11/11/17) - SFDC, January (1/20/18), March (3/10/18), April (4/14/18) and June ($20 free rll turnament) - (6/9/18) All players must be physically at the lcatin befre 5:00p in rder t participate in the event. Late arrivals (even if the turnament haven t started) will nt be allwed. Pre-paid players are allwed and the fee agreement is between the persn wh is paying fr the player that is arriving late. After first three levels, empty seats will be clsed (remving the pre-paid player s chips). Drs pens at 4:30p. N early admittance. The cmmittee needs t fcus in preparing the event. All players will receive 9,000 chips and 1,000 bnus between 4:30p and 5:00p. Pre-paid players will nt receive bnus chips unless they are physically present at the site at the beginning f the turnament.

2 There will be Free-Rll turnaments t extinguish 80% f the remaining cash purse after all prizes are given away. Players will need t attend at least 4 turnaments t qualify fr a free rll turnament It will be $20 t participate in the free rll turnament 80% f the remaining cash purse will be given away at the free rll turnament 20% f the cash purse will be saved twards the next series (supplies, special prizes, etc.) BAPS will prvide tables and cards. Chips are t be prvided by the hst until we are able t purchase ur wn set. There is a $40 BAPS buy-in at every turnament: $30 ges t the prize purse f the night $9 ges t the year-end prizes $1 ges t the Ryal Flush Pt (it autmatically resets when smene wins a Ryal Flush)! Ryal Flush Pt and ther pts when the riginal Jackpt Pt is fulfilled Additinal funding will g t the etcetera prizes Ryal Flush Pt and Bad Beat Guidelines (side pts applicable t nly 6 BAPS events) Ryal Flush Jackpt will be capped at $500 (a backup pt will be established) Straight Flush Jackpt will be capped at $200 Bad Beat Prize will be capped at $100 (AAAJJ beat) High Hand (AAAJJ r better) f the night will capped at $50 and limited t 3 winners per seasn BAPS will fllw the FTP pint system (see pints distributin spreadsheet) Pints frm all six (6) events will be cunted including any special turnaments (e.g. SFDC Pker Turney) All players will cllect pints BAPS fficial year-end cash prizes: $9 per player will be withheld fr the fllwing prizes:! Player f the Year - $500! Runner up - $300! 3rd Place - $250! 4th Place - $200

5 Players will adhere t and respect the hst s prperty rules. Prperty wner has the right t request a player t leave his/her premises Prperty wner has the right nt t invite certain individuals Prperty will nt allw any hard liqurs, drunk participants r smking in undesigned areas. Any players caught will be autmatically disqualified fr the night. 5th - 9th place finishers will help with the clean up befre getting their prize mney. This applies t the 1st-4th place finishers. All players attending the series are expected t demnstrate psitive gaming sprtsmanship. A penalty may be invked if a player expses any card with actin pending, thrws a card ff the table, vilates the neplayer-t-a-hand rule, r similar incidents ccur. Penalties will be invked in cases f sft play, abuse, disruptive behavir, r cheating. Penalties available t the turnament directr include verbal warnings, missed hand penalties, and disqualificatin. Except fr a ne-hand penalty, missed hand penalties will be assessed as fllws: The ffender will miss ne hand fr every player, including the ffender, wh is at the table when the penalty is given multiplied by the number f runds specified in the penalty. Fr the perid f the penalty, the ffender shall remain away frm the table but will cntinue t be dealt in. Turnament staff can assess a 1-hand penalty, 1-, r 2-rund penalties r disqualificatin. A player wh is disqualified shall have his r her chips remved frm play. Repeat infractins are subject t escalating penalties.
