2 POWER AND ECONOMY The Case range of articulated dup trucks use the latest electronically-controlled Tier III diesel engines. These 10 and 13 litre powerplants have high pressure single unit injection pups and variable geoetry turbocharging to provide rapid response, high torque rise and axiu fuel econoy in all operating conditions. High perforance. Low environental ipact. EASE OF OPERATION An electronically-controlled transission offers a choice of fully autoatic or powershift control of the six forward and three reverse gears. Finely odulated clutch engageent provides sooth gearchanges for extended coponent life and low fatigue for the operator. Sooth shifting. Coplete control. 2 OPERATOR STATION All four trucks offer a best-in-class operator environent, with unparalleled visibility thanks to a sloping engine canopy and flat glass throughout the cabin. An optional rear view caera and in-cab onitor offer further reassurance in tight site conditions. Isolation ounting, sound proofing and standard air conditioning provide the operator with a low fatigue office throughout the working day. Maxiu cofort. Increased productivity.

3 SMOOTH RIDE The B series Case articulated truck has true independent front suspension with both vertical and oscillating oveent. Long stroke cylinders provide excellent daping and bup absorption. This provides a sooth ride for the operator, enabling higher travel speeds and increased productivity. Operator cofort. Increased traction. WIDE LOAD Case ADTs have a wide chassis and dup body, offering a low centre of gravity for increased stability. Tilt cylinders are ounted inside the frae for protection fro daage and iproved lift geoetry. Material retention. Solid stability. TOTAL TRACTION All Case articulated trucks have a standard full 6x6 traction drivetrain, with liited slip differentials in the axles and a longitudinal differential lock for operation in particularly tough applications. Perfectly atched driveline coponents include an integral differential ounted directly to the transission, eliinating the need for a separate drive shaft and providing axiu power transfer to all wheels. Extree productivity. All weather perforance MINIMUM DOWNTIME Forward power-tilt engine canopy offers excellent access to engine and service coponents. Centralised lubrication for axles, articulation and oscillation joints, with autoatic lubrication syste available as an option. Central service port for all hydraulic pressure check ports reduces diagnostic tie and increases productive uptie. Ease of service. Reduced ownership cost. 3

4 ENGINE The Case articulated dup truck range is powered by the latest faily of Case electronically-controlled diesel engines featuring high pressure single unit injection pups. Utilising variable geoetry turbocharging, the 10 and 13 litre engine provide a high torque rise, for axiu ripull in difficult site conditions, with low fuel consuption and reduced environental ipact. The 10 litre Tier III engine in the 327B offer 315 hp (235 kw) of power. In the 330B that is increased to 349 hp (260 kw). The larger 335B uses a 13 litre otor offering 410 hp (306 kw) while the sae engine in the range-topping 340B coes with 456 hp (340 kw). TRANSMISSION An electronically-controlled transission provides the operator with a choice of fully autoatic operation or anual powershift control. Six forward ratios and three reverses gears enable full use of the engine power in all ground conditions. Precise clutch engageent and sooth gearshift odulation result in extended driveline coponent life and reduced fatigue for the operator. DRIVETRAIN Case ADTs coe as standard with liited slip axles and longitudinal differential locks, that offer 6x6 drive for ultiate traction. An integral differential is ounted directly to the transission output, eliinating the need for an additional driveshaft and providing axiu engine power to the wheels. Driveline coponents are well atched, with electronic control synchronising the operation of transission and axles to provide high levels of tractability in all operating conditions. The 335B and 340B feature an industryexclusive war up circuit that uses the transission retarder to war the hydraulic oil on start up, reducing pressure on seals and increasing hydraulic coponent life. 4

5 OPERATOR S CAB There is no better view fro an ADT cab than fro the Case B series, with its sloping engine canopy and flat glass all round providing a coanding view around the truck. Large side windows and floor to ceiling glass doors provide a light, airy working environent and the ROPS/FOPS structure is isolation ounted to provide a sooth ride for the driver. An ergonoically designed console provides easy control for the operator, with push button change fro anual to autoatic operation of the transission. A fully adjustable suspension seat, tilting steering wheel and standard air conditioning coplete the picture, ensuring low fatigue and high productivity throughout the working day. 5

6 SUSPENSION All B series trucks have independent front suspension offering both vertical and oscillating oveent. The suspension uses long travel cylinders for excellent bup suppression, providing a sooth ride for the operator, particularly when running unladen on the return leg of a haul. The rear suspension has dual cast steel beas secured directly under the rear frae, for long ter durability and reliability. This cobination allows the operator to work at higher speeds, increasing productivity and reducing the cost per tonne oved on site. DUMP BODY The Case B series articulated truck has a wide chassis and dup body to provide a lower centre of gravity, increasing stability on rough ground and assisting the suspensions syste to provide a sooth ride. The tilt cylinders are ounted within the wide frae rails, for added protection and to iprove the lift geoetry for rapid discharge and return to hauling position. Heaped capacities range fro on the 327B to on the top of the range 340B. SERVICEABILITY A powered forward tilting engine canopy provides excellent access to the engine and cooling pack for regular service and aintenance. For ore coplete access to the transission and hydraulic syste, the cab can be tilted away fro the chassis and the fenders opened for a copletely unhindered view of ajor coponents. The Case trucks feature an electronic control and onitoring syste (EDC) in the cab console which displays all fluid levels and teperatures when the truck is started, greatly reducing the daily checks necessary before use. In addition centralised hydraulic pressure check points assist with fault diagnosis and the trucks have swing out wheel arches for access to the front tyres and hydraulic coponents. Autoatic lubrication is available, with all B Series Trucks having centralised lubrication for axles, articulated and oscillation joints. 6
