North America s Only Porsche Factory Driver Is A Worldwide Go To For Results. Patrick Long (Manhattan Beach, California) has already won three times this season in Pirelli World Challenge, has podiumed at Daytona and Le Mans and won a pole position at the Nürburgring. North America s only Porsche factory driver is splitting his time between the three major sports car series in the world: Pirelli World Challenge driving the No. 58 Porsche Consulting entry for Wright Motorsports, FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) with the No. 88 Abu Dhabi-Proton 911 RSR in which he won the LMGTE-Am pole position and finished fourth for this past weekend s Six Hours of Nürburgring and finished third at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the No. 540 Black Swan Racing Porsche 911 GT3 R in the endurance races of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. He gave the GT3 R its first podium result at the Rolex 24 At Daytona driving the No Beyond the racing duties, Long has a hectic testing schedule for Porsche Motorsport which includes strapping into the Porsche 911 RSR works car in North America, media obligations to Porsche as an ambassador of the marque, personal coaching and consulting, a number of personal business concerns, the Luftgekühlt brand and a young family. It is clear the native Californian is a go to player in the automotive realm. Long has been a Porsche factory driver since 2004, the year he took the first of his two 24 Hours of Le Mans victories, and a Porsche Junior driver before that. He has won every major sports car race at least once and has also dabbled in stock car and off-road racing. Entering the two Pirelli World Challenge races at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course this weekend, Long is second in GT Driver points. 3 Motorsports at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park, Long has earned two victories for the No. 58 Porsche Consulting Porsche 911 GT3 R. Challenging Mid-Ohio. Porsche Customer Teams Ready for PWC In Three Classes. After a hiatus of nearly a month, the Pirelli World Challenge starts the final leg of its 2016 championship season at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course July Porsche customer cars are entered in three classes at the Lexington, Ohio-area track. The GT and GTA classes will see the race-winning Porsche 911 GT3 R while the one-make GT Cup class uses Porsche 911 GT3 Cup cars, set to Porsche Mobil1 Supercup regulations. Porsche 911 GT3 R. Four 2016 Porsche 911 GT3 Rs are entered in the GT class of North America s premier sprint-format sports car racing series. Patrick Long (Manhattan Beach, California) has already won three times this season and is second in the Pirelli World Challenge GT championship driving the No. 58 Porsche Consulting 911 GT3 R for Wright Motorsports. Michael Lewis (Laguna Beach, California) has two GT victories to his credit thus far both at St. Petersburg, Florida and will be back in the No. 98 Calvert Dynamics GT3 R for the remainder of the season. New to the 911 GT3 R ranks is Preston Calvert (Potomac, Maryland) who is stepping into his team s black and yellow entry to test himself against the higher-horsepower and downforce competition in the GTA class. Among those he will be racing will be multi-time winner Michael Schein (Glen Cove, New York) in the No. 16 Wright Motorsports Porsche 911 GT3 R. A third Porsche is also entered in the amateur class this weekend at Mid-Ohio, the No. 90 Autometrics Motorsports entry of Joseph Toussaint (Houston, Texas). This car is actually a previous generation Type The previous iteration of the 911 GT3 R won both races at Mid-Ohio in 2015 at the hands of veteran Ryan Dalziel. That car has since been replaced by the newest GT3 regulation entry based on the seventh generation of the iconic rear-engine 911 design. 4 Long s victory at the Circuit of the Americas in early March was the first global victory for the car which is Porsche s representative in every GT3-spec series worldwide. Porsche 911 GT3 Cup. With the move of Preston Calvert to the GTA class, that leaves the one-make GT Cup category a three-car fight. However, that will not diminish the heated battle at the top of the field with Porsche Young Driver Academy graduates Alec Udell (The Woodlands, Texas) and Sloan Urry (Park City, Utah) piloting Porsche 911 GT3 Cup cars. Udell took a narrow lead in the Drivers Championship with the No. 17 GMG Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car after winning both races at Road America. However, Urry, who podiumed in both also, is not far out of the running in the No. 20 TruSpeed Porsche. Corey Fergus (Columbus, Ohio) has remained on the heels of the two driving the No. 00 Motorsports Promotions 911 GT3 Cup car. With only three events remaining after this weekend, the GT Cup class likely go down to the wire at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca in early October. Udell won one of the two races at Mid-Ohio in Dynamic Moves In PWC. Calvert Dynamics Makes Several Changes Entering Mid- Ohio. Since the most recent round of the Pirelli World Challenge, Calvert Dynamics has made several significant changes to their program. Entering the July Pirelli World Challenge at Mid-Ohio the effort switches to a two-car program with the Porsche 911 GT3 R. Team Owner/Driver Preston Calvert (Potomac, Maryland) will move up to the GTA class utilizing the car Andrew Davis (Athens, Georgia) has raced since the seasonopener in Austin Texas. The Calvert machine will be re-numbered from the No. 76 that Davis drove to the No. 77 that, up until this upcoming weekend, Calvert had on the side of a Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car in the one-make GT Cup class. While not racing at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, Davis remains an intricate member of the team coaching his longtime friend around the mile, 13-turn track. He will co-drive with Calvert in the second round of the Sprint X championship a meld of aspects of both sprint and endurance racing at the Utah Motorsports Campus, August Public Relations Department 4 of 16 Public Relations Department

5 The team and driver Michael Lewis (Laguna Beach, California) have extended their original two-race (Road America and Mid-Ohio) agreement to encompass the remainder of the season. Lewis, who won both races at St. Petersburg, Florida earlier this year, will campaign the No. 98 Calvert Dynamics Porsche 911 GT3 R through the Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca finale on October 7-9. No Walk In The Park. Porsche 911 RSR Sixth In IMSA Northeast GP. The No. 911 Porsche North America Porsche 911 RSR scored a sixth-place GTLM class finish at round seven of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship at Lime Rock Park on July 23. Reigning IMSA GT champion Patrick Pilet (France) and Nick Tandy (Great Britain) shared the cockpit of the 470 hp GT racer from Weissach at the Lakeville, Connecticut track. A problem with the fuel supply after 27 laps cost the winners of the Long Beach race the chance of securing a better result. At the wheel of the sister 911 RSR, Earl Bamber (New Zealand) and Frédéric Makowiecki (France) retired the No. 912 after an accident while fighting for secondplace. In temperatures of over 90 degrees Fahrenheit, the pair was ultimately classified as eighth after the two-hour, 40-minute race. Steffen Höllwarth, Program Manager, IMSA SportsCar Championship. This is obviously a disappointing result. After the practice we had actually worked something out, because we knew we would be strong over the distance. And this was also underlined in the race, although we had problems with the fuel supply in the number 911 car. But the 912 was able to fight for second place up until the accident. I don t blame Earl. He attempted to overtake and the BMW closed the door. We only have a fortnight until the next race in Elkhart Lake. Despite everything, we ll take the progress that we made here with us to Road America. Then hopefully we ll be rewarded there for all the hard work the team has put in. 6 Up until the problem with the fuel supply, the race was going well for us. But of course after having to pit twice we lost our chance to fight for a good result. It s a shame, because after the steps we d taken we had high hopes for Lime Rock. Nick Tandy, Driver, No. 911 Porsche North America Porsche 911 RSR. When I took over the 911 RSR from Patrick we were running eight laps down. There was nothing else to do than to try to get through the heavy traffic unscathed and bring home important championship points. We succeeded in doing this. Earl Bamber, Driver, No. 912 Porsche North America Porsche 911 RSR. Initially we were looking good in the race and were able to work our way up to third place. Our 911 RSR was perfectly setup for this demanding racetrack. The accident happened when I tried to overtake the BMW in front of me. I was already beside him on the inside when he also pulled to the inside and left me no room. We touched and I hit the tire wall quite hard. Frédéric Makowiecki, Driver, No. 912 Porsche North America Porsche 911 RSR Such things happen on this short, tight circuit quicker than anywhere else. With 30 almost equally fast cars you normally can t overtake. Those who try take a higher risk. Until the accident we were looking good for a top result, but unfortunately we couldn t finish the race. It s a pity because we were on the right track. Now we ll focus on the next race at Elkhart Lake. Six Pack. Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport On Podium for Sixth-Straight Time. Since coming into the Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge (CTSCC) GS class at the start of the season, the Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport has been a contender. This weekend at Lime Rock Park, the mid-engine Porsche Motorsport offering captured its sixth-consecutive podium result in six races in the ten-race championship. The No. 33 CJ Wilson Racing Cayman GT4 Clubsport started second on the grid and fought for the lead throughout the 150-mile race. The grey-colored entry shared by Public Relations Department 6 of 16 Public Relations Department

7 Daniel Burkett (Canada)/Marc Miller (Holland, Michigan) led but was unable to hold the top spot falling to second-place at the checkered flag to the No 15 Ford Shelby GT350R-C. The No. 12 Bodymotion Racing machine out of New Jersey continued to add to its tally for the season. The Cameron Cassels (Canada) and Trent Hindman (Wayside, New Jersey)-driven machine has won three races thus far in 2016 and finished third at the Lime Rock, Connecticut track. The No. 35 CJ Wilson Racing Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport of Tyler McQuarrie (Danville, California) and Till Bechtolsheimer (New York, New York) was fourth on the day. The No. 64 Team TGM of Ted Giovanis (Highland, Maryland) and David Murry (Atlanta, Georgia) was sixth. Daniel Burkett, Driver, No. 33 CJ Wilson Racing Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport. My stint was good. I got jumped a little bit on the start as he went a bit earlier than I was expecting but that was no big deal. I just had to get my head down and focus forward. I made a good pass on Scott [Maxwell]. I really set it up coming out of Turn 7 and I had a good run on the straight and I was able to make that late braking move into Turn One. I knew we had an advantage over the Mustangs under braking and that is exactly where I was able to take advantage. Overall, I was happy with my stint, we led some laps and I kept the car clean. Marc Miller, Driver, No. 33 CJ Wilson Racing Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport. We had a really good car today. Danny put in a great stint. We got a little hung up in the pits, I know our driver change wasn t perfect but as I came around I saw Billy [Johnson] coming out of the pits and I was all over his bumper but I could just not get by him. The car picked up quite a bit of understeer, it was good by itself but I wasn t able to really stay with Billy. I think we were just a hair quicker than his car but we really couldn t get through the traffic. We made an adjustment on the final stop. That was the car we really needed in the middle of the race to fight for the win. If your closest rival wins a race, you had better finish second and we did that today. I m pretty pleased about that and while we re thirteen points behind we don t feel that is insurmountable by any means. It s theirs to lose at this moment and we just want to keep applying pressure and make them lose it. Public Relations Department 7 of 16 Public Relations Department

8 Tyler McQuarrie, Driver, No. 35 CJ Wilson Racing Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport. For me, I just had to get my head down and keep the laps coming while staying out of trouble. I think I only passed one car for position all day. We went from Watkins Glen where we were swapping positions lap after lap to here where I was just waiting for someone to make a mistake and bring out a yellow. At the end of the day, the car was awesome and Till did a great job, you just can t get on the podium at every race, so we ll just have to move on to the next one. Till Bechtolsheimer, Driver, No. 35 CJ Wilson Racing Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport. I thought we had a third-place car at very least so I am a little bit disappointed that we didn t get on the podium but otherwise I m really happy with it. I had a lot of fun chasing down Paul Holton and passing him on track. It was very satisfying to be able to hand the car over to Tyler in P3. We maybe could have made third but the Bodymotion car was on a different strategy and it worked out for them and not for us. A yellow would have made the race more exciting as the top four would have been fighting until the end but it never came and it wasn t quite as exciting at Watkins Glen. Homecoming Victory. No 1 Porsche 919 Hybrid Wins Nürburgring. The reigning world champions Timo Bernhard (Germany), Brendon Hartley (New Zealand) and Mark Webber (Australia) repeated their win of last year s six-hour race at the Nürburgring in Germany. By doing so, Porsche, with the 919 Hybrid, extended their lead in the manufacturer standings of the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC). Romain Dumas (France), Neel Jani (Switzerland) and Marc Lieb (Germany) finished fourth in the race and continue to lead the drivers world championship. Just like the 2015 debut, the German round of the WEC was a success: 58,000 spectators witnessed breathtaking motorsport in nice summer weather in the Eifel mountains. 9 This is the third victory this season for the Porsche 919 Hybrid, after wins at the Silverstone and Le Mans races. In total, the prototype has won ten races since its 2014 debut. For Bernhard/Hartley/Webber it is their fifth success. Porsche now leads the manufacturers standings with 164 points ahead of Audi (129) and Toyota (97). Dumas/Jani/Lieb lead the drivers standings by 33 points. Michael Steiner, Board Member Research and Development, Porsche AG. It was a hard race, we were fighting for a long time, and I m very happy about this win on home soil. Fritz Enzinger, Vice President LMP1. It is incredible. We have won nine out of the last ten races, including the 24 hours of Le Mans twice. With this result we are going into the summer break and you cannot ask for more. I feel sorry for our number 2 car. It had the win within reach, too. But a fourthplace is still a strong result. We saw a fantastic race and motorsport at its highest level, now we look forward to Mexico. Until then I wish all team members here and at home in Weissach a wonderful holiday. Andreas Seidl, Team Principal. A huge compliment to all team members at the track and in Weissach for this outstanding performance. Crew number 1 was able to exploit the full potential of our 919 Hybrid and they were nearly incident-free. Their slow puncture did not cause an extra pit stop. Unfortunately, car number 2 had some unlucky incidents on the track that cost them a top position. We improved our points advantage in the constructors championship and crew number 2 collected some valuable points for the drivers world championship as well. Getting the season s third aero package ready for this race was done with huge effort since it was developed at the same time as we prepared for Le Mans. The new package worked well over the entire weekend. We clearly had the fastest car in the race and we want to keep the momentum for the races to come overseas. 10 At the start I managed to improve to P2 and kept putting pressure on the leader. During my first stint I was next to the Audi two or three times. I even overtook him once but missed my braking point because I was focused on the GT traffic. That allowed him to pass me again. On my second stint I was the fastest car on track and we could make up some time. The final stint was a lot of work as well. To me this win today tastes especially sweet. It was hard fought, for me it is another one on home turf and it helps make up for the bad luck we had in the first three rounds of the championship. Brendon Hartley, Driver, No. 1 Porsche 919 Hybrid. Thanks to Porsche, to the mechanics, the engineers, Timo and Mark it feels great to be back on the top of the podium. Early stages of the race were good and we overtook the leading Audi in the first pit window because our crew was faster. Then we had some bad luck with the traffic and got a slow puncture that lead to an early stop. With my second stint I was a lot happier. The track was coming to the car in terms of balance. I pulled away from the Audi and then we took the lead of the race. Mark Webber, Driver, No. 1 Porsche 919 Hybrid. I m very happy for Porsche winning their home race. It was an exceptional performance against strong competition. This is the day of the mechanics of car number 1 who had some tough times recently and it is good points for the constructors championship. We had completely different track conditions in the race than we saw before and I was very happy with the performance of our car and our driving. It was a bit of a mixed up race. We lost some time in a full course yellow period when the car in front of me wasn t going 80 km/h [49 mph] as the regulations say. Then our sister car had a drive through penalty. We had great battles on track with Audi and I was never bothered which of our cars did it, but the most important thing to me was to beat Audi today. Romain Dumas, Driver, No. 2 Porsche 919 Hybrid. I went in the car just before a full course yellow period and lost some time because I had a car in front of me that was slower than 80 km/h [49 mph]. The second full course yellow came at the right moment giving us a huge advantage. Our 919 was good and we wished for a better result but in the end we scored some championship points. 11 Neel Jani, Driver, No. 2 Porsche 919 Hybrid. Today we could have won that race. In the beginning it was very hard with position fights everywhere. When a full course yellow brought us to the top, luck was on our side later it worked against us. After the contact while overtaking I got into the Audi sandwich and things got difficult for us. It was nearly impossible to overtake them on the straight. I saved all my boost, but I couldn t crack them. Then a true bumper-car festival started. But fourth place is better then nothing, and the points are highly welcome for the championship. Marc Lieb, Driver, No. 2 Porsche 919 Hybrid. Traffic was really difficult today since you always need a little luck where on track and you re going to meet the slower cars. Our car was good. I feel sorry for the team because of the drive through penalty. It was one of those situations in traffic in which you decide either right or wrong. I got it wrong when I tried to use a gap. I thought he would leave me some room. It is a shame because we had a fairly good chance to win that race and I also feel sorry for the Porsche colleagues of the number 88 car. Total Car Count.
