3 Mittal Steel Ostrava a.s. TRADITIONAL PRODUCER OF THE HIGH QUALITY METALURGICAL PRODUCTS Rolling s of Mittal Steel Ostrava a.s. are a traditional producer of long products in the Czech republic. Long products mainly for constructions and structures, are produced at two s Rolling, and one Continuous Wire Rod. The produces heavy and medium section iron, from the simple sections, trough the shaped bars, special section bars and I, IPE and U bars, up to the size of 220. The continuous Wire-Rod produces hot rolled stell wire rod, and reinforcing bars of small diameters. The medium which was put in operation in the year 191 produces a variety assortment of hot rolled long products: fine and medium sections of basics shapes, ribbed reinforcing bars, I, IPE bars up to 140 size, U bars up to 0 size and some special profiles.

Hot rolled products of structural non-alloy steels will be delivered according to EN 025-2:2004 (or its identical national modifications e.g. DIN EN, ČSN EN) and with CE marking. Products manufactured according to others standarts can only be delivered without the conformity marketing with a notification included in the sales contracts that the products are not destined for the use in the construction industry.
