3 Model: pplication - Features Design Standard Range R and Fail Safe EF R and EF uses the rubber profile in shear and compression, obtaining good vertical flexibility with the advantage of horizontal stability. For normal speeds of approx rpm, the R and EF type provides a degree of isolation of 75-85%. Fitted as standard with an integral fail- safe design device with resilient stop, making R and EF ideal for use in mobile applications. The R / EF- mounts can accommodate occasional shock loads to 5 g reference to the weight in hardness 60 IR. The mount will withstand shock loads up to 2 g without plastic deformation. For effective isolation of vibration and noise on machines with rotating movements, e.g. compressors, pumps, combustion engines, industrial and marine gen- sets, generators, converters and fans. REM REM is a universal mounting for applications demanding maximum isolation. It is a further development of R, where EM stands for extra soft. Suitable for both light and heavy machines. For normal speeds of approx rpm the REM type provides a degree of isolation of 85-95%, and gives good isolation with low frequency machines.
