3 Textile shelf system TRANSPORTER Today it s parcels, tomorrow flat screen TVs and then refrigerators. Up until now, some goods could not have been transported safely with just one load restraint system. And let s face it, some goods have to be accessible at all time. With TransSAFE and just a few hand movements you have a flexible and easy to install textile shelf system in your transporter. It s exactly where you need it at all times! Installation time and empty runs are reduced to an absolute minimum. Additionally, the shoring beams and nets are light-weight and have little to no effect on your payload. Suitable for securing: parcels of different sizes courier shipments heavy loads nearly every shape of freight 1 TransSAFE offers a textile shelf system for the securing of goods in shortest time. 2 The shoring beams and the fittings included in the TransSAFE system are simple to use. 4 1 Transporter Securing of freight with textile shelfs in transporter General information TransSAFE is a textile shelf system consisting of shoring elements and nets. The load is secured to the front and rear by nets which are attached to six KIM 5x7 Airline shoring beams. The KIMs are positioned as close to the front, rear and center as possible. The shoring beams are tightly fixed into roof and floor ts. } Floor- and sidewall ts Airline t with flange The floor t is preferably fixed by professional bonding and additional screws to the body of the vehicle. Because of this, the distribution of the load will be evenly applied. The distance between the ts should be 615 mm in order to achieve an optimum ratio of aisle width to shelf depth. Please note, the floor ts available ex works are normally not compatible with our system due to the difference in the t gauge. } Roof t Airline t, standard, rectangular The roof t is fixed to the cross member of the roof construction. It must be connected with the bulkhead and rear door with appropriate bets. 22

5 } KIM 5x7 Airline Shoring beams The shoring beams won t twist within the Airline t. They allow flexibility due to the Airline milling along the sides of the beam. Each shoring beam has a blocking capacity of 650 dan (BC). This enables positive locking even for heavy loads. TRANSPORTER } TransSAFE nets Textile shelves The nets are fixed to the KIMs and to the sidewalls. Due to the fact that the nets can be installed freely, the optimal usage of available space is guaranteed. Each net can be loaded with up to a maximum of 300 kg. } TransSAFE straps Textile straps The straps are made of high tenacity polyester and are equipped with our KERL 500 and a high quality tensioning element. With the straps, additional parcels can be secured. 23
