2 Company history 1865 J. Rilling founded a production company for mills in Dusslingen. The corn mills and industrial coffee mills were delivered worldwide The first worldwide type HM bar mower was developed by IRUS and awarded a patent in the same year. IRUS started motor engineering IRUS introduced the single-axle machine U 600 into agriculture; in the following years, the types U 300, U 900 and U 1200 with ZF gears were built for universal use The most successful mower of IRUS was the famous MICKY, with which IRUS managed to develop and produce an until then unknown small and lightweight mower. th In the same year, the 10,000 Micky left the plant in Dusslingen. 3 Why radio-controlled? Unusual tasks require unusual solutions. In order to counteract scrub encroachment, even the hardest to reach and landslidethreatened slopes must be kept free. Compared to the previous practice with string trimmers or hand-operated singleaxle machines, these are some of the resulting crucial advantages Clear saving of costs compared to the previous use with string trimmers: One operator completes the work of several workers in the same time or as compared to hand-operated single-axle machines. The work speed is no longer controlled by the walking speed of the operator. This can cut the required working time in half. Highest possible security: The operator is outside the danger zone. Preservation of the operator's health: No climbing, no slipping, no getting stuck on branches, thorns and scrub, no vibrations on the beam, no exhaust fumes in the immediate vicinity, no load for the joints. 2
