The Expeditionary BOH FPU System Saves the Globally Responsive, Regionally Engaged U.S. Army Significant Cost by Reducing ISO Container Footprint by 57% Garrison / Home Station EDREs / CTC Rotations Reduce Inventory Time & Simplify Customs Inspections Enhance Property Accountability & Reduce Pilferage TRADITIONAL ISO CONTAINERS Proven Expeditionary Logistics support since 2000 Before FPU Systems Reduce Container and Material Repair and Replacement VS. Eliminate Blocking, Bracing and Flatrack Requirements FPUs allow Soldiers to work smarter not harder FPU SYSTEM After FPU Systems Retrograde / Reset Reduce Damage to Containerized Materiel Reduce Convoy Security and Maintenance Reduce Prime Movers, Strategic Airframes & Fuel Consumption Theater / AOR / RAF 0
The FPU System is a Capability Multiplier for the MAGTF Ashore & Afloat Reduces ISO Container Footprint by 57%, Increases Asset Visibility & Provides Hand-Portable Expeditionary Logistics Kits Garrison / MCB Cost Savings in Time and Manpower for Marines Reduces Stowage Footprint on Amphibious Vessels TRADITIONAL ISO CONTAINERS Pre-Deployment / Embarkation Reduces Required Dunnage and Embarkation Supplies Durability Reduces Material Repair and Replacement VS. FPU EXPEDITIONARY MOBILITY SYSTEM Reduces use of Tactical Vehicle & Vertical Lift Distribution Assets Modular Packaging Enables Selective Offload Interoperable with Current Marine Corps Container Family Modular & Scalable Storage Kits Reconstitution/ Reset Hand-Portable Solutions for Austere and MHE-Limited Environments Increases Asset Visibility and Property Accountability Ashore & Afloat Deployment / Offload
The BOH FPU System Delivers Significant Cost Savings to the U.S. Army BOH s patented FPU Expeditionary Mobility System reduces ISO Container footprint by an average of 57% which in turn SAVES COST by reducing NUMBER OF PRIME MOVERS, STRATEGIC AIRFRAMES, RAIL & SHIP POSITIONS (container) needed for deployment CONVOY SECURITY and MAINTENANCE REQUIREMENTS FUEL CONSUMPTION CONTAINER REPAIR AND REPLACEMENT COSTS; NEED FOR LEASED CONTAINERS BLOCKING AND BRACING BY 95% DAMAGE TO CONTAINERIZED MATERIAL ELIMINATING FLATRACK REQUIREMENTS The BOH FPU System can significantly reduce footprint and provide expeditionary solutions for the Army of 2025 and Beyond
FPU System - The Joint Warfighter's Container of Choice BLUF: The FPU-20 met or exceeded all of the AMC-FAST Project #1000 evaluation goals it clearly demonstrated its capability to greatly improve unit mobility / operational efficiency while using less equipment. from AMC-FAST Science Advisor (Jun 2001) I loved this system when we deployed with it last year. (Jun 2012)...from a SFC at Ft. Carson The FPU containers were located adjacent to the fire and did better than the standard ISO containers. Of the 11,000 line items we recovered, over 90% of those came from the FPUs. (Jun 2010)...from the Supply Management Unit (FWD) Storage OIC describing the fire at Camp Leatherneck, Afghanistan, May 2010 FPU Systems help Soldiers work smarter not harder (Jun 2012).from a SSG and 2-time user at Ft. Stewart and Schofield Barracks Without these BOH containers RC-East will not be able to establish an SSA operation in the N2K region of Afghanistan. The 782nd BSB's ability to conduct support missions out of sector will continue to be degraded without them. (Mar 2007)...from CJ4 Supply Chief, HQ Regional Command-East

BOH FPU Sustainment Enabler: MRAP ASL Containerization Before FPU Systems Example: FPU Containerization of MRAP ASL at USASFC(A) PMT Site, Ft. Bliss, TX (9-13 July 2012) Mission: Upload 1,900 lines of target ASL/PLLs for 52 MRAPs into 7 each BOH FPU Systems. MRAPs included 24 each M-ATV, 24 each RG-33, 3 each RG-31 and 1 each AUV. BOH s Product Integration & Training team support Bottom Line: BOH s 3-man PIT team worked with customer for 5 days to break bulk, organize and upload target ASL into 7 each FPU-8-4/Boh Cargo 12-3 Systems.then trained the PMT team on how to use FPUs...at NO COST. MRAP ASL formerly stored in 3,000 SF of Warehouse & Maintenance bay space and not mobile is now configured in FPUs as UPLOADED, SECURE and MOBILE ASL ready to support the MRAP mission. After FPU Systems Every item is now located and accessible at all times enabling the customer to issue the just the Repair Kit needed versus the higher level assembly.thereby SAVING COST. With the delivery of your (FPU) systems and the customer care provided by your representatives in the field, we are better able to quickly reposition our ASL/PLL in multiple areas in support of Special Operations training. Benefits to our team are streamlined operations, saved man-hours and reduced cost to the government.. Logistics Officer/Maintenance Manager USASFC(A) PMT Site, Ft. Bliss, TX (19 July 2012)
BOH FPU Sustainment Enabler: FPU Expeditionary Support of SSAs Across the US Army Achieves a warehouse footprint reduction of up to 70% Always uploaded & ready to move Fully Intermodal Provides access to 100% of material Always Organized & Efficient Mission scalable Multi-class capable Seamless support capability, home station to fight and back Reduced labor for stow and issue Improved warehouse safety
FPU Durability - Fort to Foxhole and Back Fire at Camp Leatherneck, Afghanistan - May 2010 The (FPU) containers were located adjacent to the fire and fared better than the standard ISO containers. Of the 11,000 line items we were able to recover over 90% of those came from the BOH containers which were also the nearest to the fires..supply Mgt Unit (FWD) Storage OIC (May 2010) FPU Containers and Modular Storage Aids were designed & built for constant mobility.and tested successfully against MIL-STD-810 F. Over the FPU System s past 15-year service to the US military only three containers have required repair above unit level. The FPU s durability REDUCES THE US ARMY S CONTAINER REPAIR & REPLACEMENT COST. Durability of FPU Modules and other Storage Aids and their ability to secure stored items better than standard shipping containers.reduces THE ARMY S COST OF DAMAGED EQUIPMENT & MATERIALS.
