4 Woods Furniture created and designed the innovative Woods Security Locker in the late 1980 s. Today, Woods continues to lead the way with the evolution of personal lockable storage with the PLS Series. The strength and durability of the locker design, has seen this product in continuous use for over 25 years in the most testing of environments. Frames The locker frames are manufactured from heavy duty steel. These frames give the unit their amazing rigidity. Carcass The locker carcass is manufactured from 16mm EO laminated MDF and is available in 4 practical colours. The laminated carcass and doors with sealed edges are moisture resistant and easy to clean. Lockers sit on a 98% wood/plastic recycled composite base. Doors and Hinges The ultra tough doors and unique Woods hinge system give these lockers their superior security and longevity of use. Our 13mm DuraTough or 18mm Decorwood doors are much tougher than metal and plastic doors. The doors are available in a range of vibrant and practical colours. Optional Features: Sloping Hood Option To prevent unwanted items being placed on top of the units, we provide the option of fitted sloping hoods. The finish of the hoods will match the carcass. Identification Plaques Our numbering system offers a wide variety of colour coded plaques to complement the door and frame colours. Our system assists with clear identification with numbers engraved into plaques that will stand the test of time. Plaque numbering can be customised to fit a school s requirements. Configurations With 3 door sizes and a number of locker bank configurations, you are able to maximise space while meeting your students storage needs. Door Layout While the most common locker bank consists of 1 door finish, Woods offers the option of multiple door colours to create a visually impressive display. Ultimate Security Our locally designed and manufactured heavy duty Cam Lock has been specifically created for use in the education market to give you peace of mind that valuable items can be stored safely and securely.
