5 1 Depth Depth HSS /TCT Cutters Features: Save time and reduce cost using Jancy s patented annular Slugger cutters. With their unique centerfree design Slugger cutters cut only the outer periphery of the hole, ejecting the remaining center as a solid slug. By having multiple cutting edges and only cutting the outer periphery of the hole Slugger cutters reduce torque and horsepower requirements. Chip load per tooth is greatly reduced, allowing a high rate of penetration while improving hole quality and tool life. Regardless of diameter, Slugger cutters produce reamed quality, burr-free holes in one operation, eliminating costly pilot holes and step drilling. Holes on curved surfaces and interrupted cuts are easily produced without distortion. Tooling is available to adapt Slugger cutters quickly and easily to drill presses, milling machines, mag base drills, and C.N.C equipments.
