StopTech Big Brake Kits feature fully forged calipers with patented stiffening bridges, patented 2-piece AeroRotors for optimized cooling, braided stainless steel brake lines, performance brake pads, mounting brackets and all necessary hardware to complete the installation. Easily identifiable by their unique shape and finish, StopTech Trophy Big Brake Kit components feature a MIL-spec hard-anodizing on the Trophy STR calipers and AeroHats that is impervious to color change or fading at extreme race temperatures. There are two types of StopTech Trophy Big Brake Kits available - Trophy Race for the track and Trophy Sport for the street. StopTech Trophy Race Big Brake Kits are designed specifically for motorsports competition and dedicated track cars. Unique to the Trophy Race Big Brake System is full-floating mounting hardware, which eliminates pad knock-back, and the elimination of the dust boots in the caliper. Together, these technologies optimize the brake system to provide improved performance and consistent pedal feedback under the unique combination of hard cornering and braking found on the track. Trophy Race Big Brake Kits are the ultimate in racing performance, with numerous wins and championships in World Challenge, Grand-Am, NASA and SCCA racing. StopTech Trophy Sport Big Brake Kits are intended for ultra-high performance street use. The Trophy Sport Big Brake Kits use the same STR calipers, AeroRotors and AeroHats found in the full-race Trophy Kits, but add silicone dust boots for extended service intervals and anti-rattle rotor mounting hardware for quieter operation. They also include StopTech Street Performance Brake Pads for high performance street and occasional track use. Trophy Sport Big Brake Kits are the ultimate street braking system. Available as 4-wheel, or front or rear axle kits, the Sport Kits simplify the upgrade process by providing complete, prematched systems, without the hassle of mixing and matching individual components. Sport Kits use Power Slot or SportStop rotors. These 1-piece slotted, drilled or drilled + slotted direct replacement discs fit your stock factory brake calipers. Positive molding uses extreme pressure to compress the friction material and bond it to the backing plate. This process assures consistent friction material density throughout the pad, resulting in even wear and performance characteristics throughout the life of the brake pad. Centric Parts has recognized that the number one cause for customer returns is noise and vibrations. Centric Parts is constantly improving its products to eliminate these issues. Posi Quiet brake friction features either precision cut or shaved backing plates and mechanically attached shims - these small details ensure proper fitment in the caliper and virtually eliminate noise associated with pad vibration. In addition to these features Centric Parts has added a scorching process to all of its Posi Quiet brake pads. This additional process forces any impurities out of the friction material and pre-burnishes the pads to provide a greatly accelerated the break-in process.

For dedicated race vehicles that are never operated on the street, StopTech is developing its own line of race pad formulations that factor in vehicle type, caliper type, and racing conditions. Whatever pad you choose, proper bed-in is critical to ensure optimal performance. 3

9 StopTech Cryogenic Treated Rotors For drivers who need something even tougher than a standard SportStop or Power Slot rotor, but are not ready for a big brake kit, StopTech offers cryogenically treated SportStop and Power Slot Cryo rotors. Cryogenic treatment is a one-time stress relief process that involves both cold and heat cycling of the brake rotor. Using a proprietary computer-controlled process over a 24-hour period, the cryo machine gradually cools the rotors down to -300 º F, then gradually brings them up to over +300º F, and finally back to room temperature. This conditioning of the rotor improves its service life, especially in fleet and emergency vehicle applications. Any new SportStop or Power Slot replacement rotor can by cryogenically treated prior to shipment. To order, simply change the last three letters in the part number to CSL or CSR for Cryo Slotted Left and Cryo Slotted Right, respectively. Cryo treatment typically adds 5-7 business days for processing. Contact your retailer for pricing. Although cryogenic treatment is invisible to the naked eye, many of Centric s fleet customers are sold on its ability to extend the wear life of the brake disc.

StopTech High Performance Brake Fluid conforms to and exceeds the current specification of U.S. FMVSS 116 ( ) DOT 4, is road legal, and compatible with modern ABS and other vehicle dynamic control systems.
