5 Number of fatalities from 2000 to year trends per road users Between 2000 and 2010, the number of fatalities was reduced by half. 2011, with people killed, was rather close to 2010 performance. 2012, with people killed, showed a significant decrease. In 2013, with people killed, the downward trend gets stronger. Compared to 2010, the new baseline, the number of people killed has decreased by -18%
