1 Wenatchee Valley Super Oval "2015" Super Tuner & Youth Tuner Rules (Also reference WVSO General Rules and Regulations) RULE BOOK DISCLAIMER The rules and/or regulations set forth herein are designed to provide for the orderly conduct of racing events and to establish minimum acceptable requirements for such events. These rules shall govern the condition of all events, and by participating in these events, all participants are deemed to have complied with these rules. WVSO OFFICIALS shall be empowered to permit any and all deviation from any of the specifications herein or impose any further restrictions to keep the competition close. Any interpretation or deviation of these rules is left to the discretion of the WVSO OFFICIALS, their decision is final. Your interpretation of any rule is not necessarily the intent of the rule as written. Do not assume or take the position that you may bend the rules to fit your own desires & needs. If a rule is not clear to you or the car builder or the engine builder. please call WVSO Officials for clarification. Doing so could save you time & money! Ignorance or I thought it was okay will not be any excuse of any rule violation. Be Safe, Race Hard & Have Fun! 2 Single Cam Cars w/ driver = 2000 lbs. Dual Cam Cars w/ driver = 2250 lbs. ALL WEIGHTS ARE MINIMUMS Left Side Weight will not exceed 54% at anytime Must adhere to these rules before Qualifying, Heats, & Feature Events. Minus -1% Weight Deduct After Heat & Feature Events ONLY Single cam car after race = 1980 lbs. Dual cam car after race = lbs. All Drivers will be in RACE TRIM when being weighed ZERO TOLERANCE RULE WVSO Tech may adjust weight on any race car for fairness of competition at any time. All cars will have weight & info listed on the driver's side top of the fender at the base of the windshield Drivers: 1. Youth Tuner Ages: 12 to 17 years old, Super Tuner Ages 13 & up. 2. All Minors must have WVSO official's approval to compete. 3. All Minors must have parent's consent form & Birth Cert. on file with WVSO before in Pits & on Track. 4. Drivers will be able to participate in other WVSO classes. 5. Any Youth Tuner driver that moves to another class, cannot move back to the Youth Tuner class. Competing Models: 1. American & Foreign 3 or 4 cylinder cars whose components meet USA SPECS ONLY. 2. Coupe, Sedan, or Station Wagon Car, ALLOWED. 3. Front wheel drive ALLOWED. 4. Rear wheel drive ALLOWED. 5. Maximum wheelbase is 104". 6. NO All Wheel drive or 4 WD drive cars. 7. NO supercharged, turbocharged, Rotary, Quad 4 engines. 8. NO rear engine, mid engine, convertibles or roadsters. 9. NO Camaros or Firebirds. 10. Rear steer cars ALLOWED, only if locked solid at zero (0) degrees and cannot be moved. Bodies: 1. All O.E.M. sheet metal and panels must remain stock & in place unless stated otherwise in these rules.

3 2. OEM STOCK Firewall and floorboard must remain intact. 3. Doors may be made out of 20 gauge steel and appear OEM, NO flat sides. 4. All OEM STOCK front inner structures must remain intact. 5. All doors must be secured, bolted, chained, or welded. 6. Hood Pins, Hood = 4 Pins, Trunk = 2 Pins. MANDATORY. May keep OEM Hinges. 7. Windshield OEM or 1/8" LEXAN. No Plexiglas. Must have a minimum of 3, 2" metal straps. 8. Cars must have all upholstery, side glass, rear glass and trim removed. 9. Rear Side glass may be replaced with Lexan, ALLOWED. 10. You may fabricate a dashboard. ALLOWED. 11. Battery can be mounted in the OEM location or in driver's area behind seat in an enclosed battery box. 12. No battery's in the trunk. 13. External Charging terminals, ALLOWED. 14. Wheel Base must be OEM STOCK for year make & model within ½", MANDATORY. 15. Tow Hooks or tow Chains are recommended. 16. NO hood scoops, holes, cowling or anything to funnel air to carb. or fuel injection from the top. 17. Inner structures MAY BE REMOVED: Hood, Trunk Lid & Doors ALLOWED. 18. Stock O.E.M Le Mans bar ALLOWED. Mounted equally left to right. 19. Race Number's required on Roof, Door's, Top of passenger windshield 6" & passenger rear tail light 6" 20. Fire Wall: Must be between the driver, the fuel tank & engine. MANDATORY 21. Approved Racing seat, Belts, Window Net, Mandatory. 22. NO cars will be allowed to race the next race date minus fenders, doors, bumpers lost in a previous race. 23. Cars with sunroofs must weld 20 gauge steel to cover area. 24. Outer Fenders may be finely TRIMMED for tire clearance if need be, not hacked up, ALLOWED. 25. ALL Inner fender wells to be intact, MANDATORY. 26. Electric Kill Switch to be mounted in the center of Dash, Floor or the roll cage, MANDATORY 27. Computer Box can be taken at any time by any WVSO official for inspection. It will be sent out for its legality and returned to you by the next race if it's legal. WVSO suggests you have a spare. 28. Fuel Tank: If a stock fuel tank is forward of the axle, it can remain in place, ALLOWED. 29. Fuel Tank: If a fuel tank is behind the axle it must be replaced by an Approved fuel cell or Boat Tank securely mounted in the trunk. WVSO TECH Approval. 30. A Firewall is required between the fuel cell / boat tank & drivers area, MANDATORY. 31. Drive Shaft loops on RWD cars & shaft painted white w/ # on it, MANDATORY. 32. Any & all lead weight will be mounted securely & in a safe place & painted white w/ car number on it, must have WVSO TECH Approval. 33. NO reinforcing of any parts, body, suspension, frame, etc. Engines: NO ANTIFREEZE - $ FINE (1ST OFFENSE) 1. All engines & accessories must be STOCK OEM, NO MODIFICATIONS! Unless stated in these rules. 2. You may remove accessories such as; A/C, Smog parts, PS, Heater Core etc. 3. NO High Performance Parts Allowed. 4. Modifications to the OEM air cleaner ALLOWED. 5. K&N filters or paper filters ALLOWED. 6. Cold Air Intake/Snorkel of your making & Air Filter MAY NOT extend past the front bumper, MANDATORY. 7. As discussed in the meeting, Driver/Owner are to have the tech manual or info off the internet like Wikipedia for make & model of your car showing what engines came in your car, including compression, bore, CC's and stroke. If you do not have this info to prove your car, you are subject to immediate DQ. Call if you need help to get info for your car. Example: Dodge Neon might have 3 engines available which you could use. 8. All motors are allowed 15% above stock compression Electric engine cooling fans ALLOWED. 10. OEM Stock Computer ONLY based on your car. Computer Box can be taken at any time by any WVSO official for inspection. It will be sent out for its legality and returned to you by the next race if it's legal. WVSO suggests you have a spare. NO MODIFICATIONS. 11. All motors are allowed to be bored. Remember only 15% above stock OEM compression. 12. ONLY OEM Factory Exhaust Manifolds based on your car.

4 13. Exhaust must extend pass the driver, MANDATORY. 14. NO built for Racing Mufflers ALLOWED. 15. OEM FACTORY exhausts tubing size for your car make ALLOWED. 16. Removal of the REV LIMITER ALLOWED. 17. Stock Carburetor / Fuel Injection system for that engine ONLY, NO MODIFICATIONS. 18. NO synthetic oils. 19. ANY Radiator ALLOWED. 20. Valve Cover Breathers ALLOWED. 21. Catalytic Converter REMOVAL ALLOWED. 22. To Loud Not Allowed. Must be under the.95 DB level for Douglas County Law. No modifications except what is listed in these rules. "IF THE RULES DON'T SAY YOU CAN, THEN YOU CAN'T!" These classes are an OEM STOCK CLASS, only the modifications listed are legal Transmissions: 1. OEM STOCK from your car manufacturer, ONLY. 2. Automatic & Manual shift transmissions must remain stock as from the manufacturer ONLY. 3. OEM STOCK clutch pack ONLY. 4. NO MODIFICATIONS. Tires: 1. DOT passenger type, NO LESS THAN 200 tread wear rating, ALLOWED. 2. No tire treatments or soaking of any kind, "DRY TIRE RULE ONLY". 3. NO tread cutting or shaving, NO Camber cutting or Grooving of tires. 4. NO Recaps 5. NO low profile tires. 6. Rim sizes of 13", 14", 15" ONLY , 65, 70 Series ONLY. 8. ALL 4 tire sizes must be the same size on the car to compete, MANDATORY. 9. NO tires or wheels to extend out past the fenders. Wheels: 1. Any Magnetic Steel wheel ALLOWED. 2. Up to 7" wide ALLOWED. 3. All 4 wheel rim sizes must be the same size on the car to compete, MANDATORY. 4. Any Offset wheel ALLOWED. 5. Larger wheel studs ALLOWED. 6. Wheel studs must have WVSO Tech approval. 7. NO wheel weights. 8. Wheel spacers / adapters up to 3/4" max. per wheel ALLOWED. 9. Open Lug Nuts ONLY.

5 10. NO wheels or tires to extend out past the fenders. Suspension: OEM STOCK unless stated in these rules 1. OEM STOCK Rear Ends, Trans Axles, CV Axles etc ONLY. 2. OEM STOCK shocks non adjustable ONLY 3. Spring rubbers ALLOWED, must be zip tied in place. 4. Front Camber - 1"camber max, ALLOWED. 5. Rear Camber - ½" camber max ALLOWED. 6. Springs: OEM Stock Springs ONLY Spring collapsers per spring, ALLOWED. 8. NO Acorn type spring adjusters. 9. Springs may be cut or heated, ALLOWED. 10. OEM STOCK Sway Bars ONLY. 11. NO Traction Control. 12. After Market Steering wheel ALLOWED. 13. Modified steering column ALLOWED. 14. ALL Suspension parts are to be OEM STOCK. 15. NO Racing or Hi Performance parts. 16. Other OEM STOCK parts other than what came on the car, for that car are ALLOWED. Weights & Heights: 1. Single Cam Cars w/ driver = 2000 lbs. 2. Dual Cam Cars w/ driver = 2250 lbs. 3. ALL WEIGHTS ARE MINIMUMS 4. Left Side Weight will not exceed 54% at anytime 5. Must adhere to these rules before Qualifying, Heats, & Feature Events. 6. All cars will have weight & info listed on the driver's side top of the fender at the base of the windshield. 13. Ride Height: nose, rockers & frame is 5"(Five Inches) Min. Height. w/ driver in race trim. 14. NO adding parts or anything or dislodged parts by anyone back to the car after the Heat or Feature Race to make weight. If you do, you will be DQ. plus, plus, plus. 15. Top 5 in the Feature will go directly to the scales. Top 3 will go directly to the scales after the podium. Do not stop anywhere at any time. If you do, you will be DQ. plus, plus, plus. 16. The WVSO Scales are the ONLY Scales that count. You may stop by and do some comparison vs your scales if you think you need to recalibrate yours. SAFETY IS FIRST AND FOREMOST: 1. Helmet, Snell 2000 or better, must have ID tag. 2. A flame retardant driving suit, NOT DIRTY or TORE UP & gloves, must have SFI Tag. Eye protection and Neck Brace. Hans Device is recommended but not required. 3. Five point racing seat belts required and must be mounted acceptable to WVSO tech. Belts must be dated within the last 5 years to be legal. Anything older than 5 years is not acceptable. Date must be visible to WVSO tech to be eligible to race. 4. Approved Racing Seat point roll cage, of 1 ¾" tube steel x.090 wall seamless must be welded & secured to floor pan or frame. 6. Driver side 3 bar's, Passenger side 2 bar's MINIMUM gage driver's door plate must go from the front of the driver's door to the back end of the driver's door & top to bottom. WVSO Tech Approval /2 lb fire extinguisher with a dial in drivers reach and is up to date and fully charged. 9. Roll Bar Padding is required and must be around all bars within drivers reach.

6 10. NO bar's past the front firewall. 2 Bar's may go into trunk area, ALLOWED. 14. NO air bags or steering wheel locks. 15. One side mirror and 1 rear view mirror, ALLOWED. 16. Kill switch must be located in the center of dash, center of roll bars or center of floor board for Safety crews to easily reach in case of emergency, MANDATORY. 17. Window net must be securely mounted. Must be easily assessable for WVSO & Rescue personnel. 18. WVSO Officials will confiscate any and all Deemed Illegal Parts. 19. NO 2 Way Radios. 20.
